I’m Hiyoko-sensei, a former nursery school teacher from Hyogo Prefecture. Ever since I was five, my dream was to become a childcare worker, and before I knew it, 20 years had passed since I achieved that dream. Through singing and playing with the children, I kept working with the spirit of someone in their twenties, even as I increasingly felt my physical limits year by year (haha). You can find it on Yuzu’s album TOWA as well.

Atsuko Ono, the 21st “Uta no Onee-san” on NHK Educational TV’s “Okaasan to Issho,” made her debut with the song “Aou yo!” The composer is Kentaro Hayami, who was active as the 8th “Uta no Onii-san.” On the program, the big brother and big sister showed choreography that included waving their hands and stepping with their feet.

Young children are adorable just moving their bodies to the music.

One of the ending themes of the anime “Soreike! Anpanman” is “Anpanman Taiso.” From the very beginning, it’s a rhythmic song that makes you want to move your body, and as the title includes the word “taiso” (exercise), it’s perfect for moving around and having fun.

Since characters from the anime, including Anpanman, dance to it, even children who aren’t yet interested in dance might find themselves moving along.
