I’m Hiyoko-sensei, a former nursery school teacher from Hyogo Prefecture. Ever since I was five, my dream was to become a childcare worker, and before I knew it, 20 years had passed since I achieved that dream. Through singing and playing with the children, I kept working with the spirit of someone in their twenties, even as I increasingly felt my physical limits year by year (haha). A great recommendation for a dance program is “Animal Train.” In this one, children pretend to be animals like rabbits or monkeys boarding a train and dance accordingly.

In the TV anime Hanakappa, which has been airing since 2010, the song Egao no Mahou is used as the opening theme for its 10th season.

It’s a track by Yuiko Ohara, a singer-songwriter from Chiba Prefecture, released as a single in 2019.

There’s also an official video on YouTube where Ohara and the character Hanakappa dance together, which is helpful for learning the choreography.
