Exciting! Recreation Activities You Can Fully Enjoy at a Christmas Party (51–60)
Sketchbook Theater

You might think there aren’t many people left who enjoyed kamishibai, but actually, the traditional paper-theater style is still being performed in all sorts of places today, like community centers and senior facilities.
The good things really do get passed down, don’t they? How about spending a lovely Christmas with an evolved version of kamishibai—the “Sketchbook Theater”? You could call Sketchbook Theater a “kamishibai-style pop-up picture book,” packed with clever staging that keeps audiences engaged.
It’s a high bar to clear, but it might be fun to try making your own Sketchbook Theater while enjoying the process.
Christmas Balloon Rally
https://www.tiktok.com/@jr_12340301/video/7452129650999872776A safe and fun Christmas balloon relay game that gets everyone moving.
Prepare balloons, pool noodles cut in half, and a Christmas tree, then start the game.
Place a balloon on the two halves of a pool noodle and carry it around the tree to the finish without dropping it.
Keep passing the pool noodle pieces and the balloon to the next person, and the team whose entire lineup finishes first wins.
Once players get used to the game, try increasing the difficulty by adding a call-out like “Santa Claus!” or “Merry Christmas!” before carrying the balloon.
Santa Search Game
@miro_ouchiphoto.diy It’s super easy, but the kids will be thrilled and play with it! Try it at Christmas! The template is available only on Instagram (same name).#Christmas#ChristmasGame

With simple prep and rules, this Santa search game is fun for everyone from kids to adults.
Find the Santa in the room that matches the one on your card and stick it onto the corresponding spot on the card.
You win when you’ve collected all the Santas shown on your card.
For older participants, we recommend mixing in lots of dummy Santas to increase the difficulty.
If there are many small children, reduce the number of Santas to find or make other adjustments.
It’s a game everyone can get excited about—give it a try!
nervous breakdown

Shinkeisuijaku is a game you can enjoy anywhere with just a deck of cards.
In English, it’s called Memory or Concentration.
In this case, the Japanese name has better flair.
You probably already know how to play, but to explain: place all the cards face down, then flip over two at random.
If the two cards have the same number, you get to keep them.
If not, turn them back face down.
Each time someone reveals different cards, you gain more hints, so make sure to remember them well.
Center-guessing game

The “Hit the Middle” game is one where everyone writes their answer to a prompt as a number, and the person who wrote the number exactly in the middle of all the answers wins! The prompt can be anything, but if you’re playing at a children’s Christmas party, something that sparks fun imagination—like “There’s a pool made of candy.
How many pieces of candy are in it?”—will make the time even more delightful.
Making Christmas cards

Compared to New Year’s greeting cards or summer greeting cards, the rate of receiving and handing out Christmas cards is still pretty low, isn’t it? Maybe some people have never written one at all.
So how about hosting an event to make handmade Christmas cards? If you’re up for it, there are endless ways to get creative: illustrations, paper cutouts, torn-paper art, pop-up cards, or even cards with sound mechanisms.
It’s also nice that you can exchange them right on the spot.
And instead of just swapping with friends, giving them to your parents or teachers who’ve helped you could be a fun surprise!
Quiz tournament

If a lot of children are getting together, how about livening things up with a quiz competition? Prepare questions from various categories, have participants raise their hands, call on the fastest person, and let them answer.
If the group is small, using buzzers can create a more authentic quiz atmosphere.
Questions about characters from kids’ favorite anime will also be a big hit!
Christmas Billiards

Let’s try playing billiards on the table! It’s not full-fledged billiards—just set up some targets on the table and knock them down with a ball.
If you wrap empty cans or plastic bottles with Christmas-themed illustrations as targets, it’ll boost the festive mood.
Try different ways to play, like seeing how many you can knock off the table or how quickly you can topple them.
Don Janken

“Don Janken” is a game played by two teams.
Each team lines up in a single file at opposite ends of a straight line.
Starting from the front, a player runs along the line, and when they meet an opponent, they say “Don!” and press both hands together before playing rock-paper-scissors.
The loser returns to their own side and goes to the back of their team’s line, while the winner continues forward along the line.
The team whose players keep winning rock-paper-scissors and reach the opponent’s side first wins.
Paper Cup Speed Stacking Competition

Compete to see how fast you can stack paper cups.
Prepare a stack of 15 cups nested together: five on the bottom row, four on the next, and so on.
The challenge is to separate the nested stack and quickly build a tower.
If you rush, you might not stack them properly or you could knock over what you’ve built.
Play it as a time trial.
