Teachers’ dance: “Kitchen Orchestra”

“Kitchen Orchestra” is a group performance using kitchen utensils—pots, pans, and other items you’d use in the kitchen.

As a surprise for the entrance ceremony, we’d love to ask the principal to be the conductor of the Kitchen Orchestra! Because the theme is the kitchen, which is familiar to the children, the items to prepare are all things they see every day.

It’s a song that teachers can get ready for without much hassle and that children can easily get into.

It will surely make a better impression than the principal simply giving a normal greeting.

Chalkboard Art

Chalkboard Art

If you have a teacher who’s good at drawing, please welcome the children with chalkboard art! Chalkboard art done in chalk has a unique charm and looks wonderful.

Cherry blossoms would suit the entrance ceremony, and drawings of animals would likely delight them as well.

Popular anime characters that children love would also go over great.

If your classroom has a chalkboard, you can create a large piece, but if not, I recommend using a standing signboard with a chalkboard like those at café entrances, or a chalkboard sheet.

In conclusion

For children who are full of anxiety in a new environment, the teachers really tried all sorts of ways to ease their nerves.

Including kid-friendly surprises and performances within a formal ceremony helps them feel, “This is a fun place,” which reassures parents and creates lasting memories.

Let’s celebrate the children’s wonderful new beginning with a moving surprise!
