paperweight

A paperweight is an item used to keep papers from being blown away.

The weight used for Japanese calligraphy (bunchin) is also a type of paperweight.

In this idea, we’ll make a paperweight using resin.

Just pour resin into a mold of your preferred shape, let it cure, and then add color on top—so as long as you have the materials and curing equipment, anyone can give it a try.

It also looks beautiful if you embed beads or holographic pieces in the resin.

It’s a perfect gift for teachers who handle a lot of paperwork.

The final surprise in the room

After the graduation ceremony, there was a surprise from the parents in the classroom. We watched a video of the homeroom teacher’s activities, and then the children presented flowers.graduation ceremony (for kindergarten/preschool)#Graduation from kindergartenGraduation Ceremony SurpriseSurprise161, Kitano, Noguchi-cho, Kakogawa CityCongratulations on your kindergarten graduation!Kakogawa Kujaku Children's GardenKakogawa Nursery School#Kakogawa Akashi Children's Garden#Kakogawa Recommended Nursery Schools#HigashiKakogawaRecommendationsBring out individuality#FunWorkEvent SeriesChildcare studentNursery School PracticumKindergarten Teacher#GoNurseryTeachersCertified Childcare and Education TeacherPeacock Nursery School@[Official] Kujaku Children's Garden

A surprise in the classroom is a final chance to spend time with the teacher who has helped you, the parents, and the children, and the key is being able to enjoy it in a warm, homey atmosphere.

Decide on the structure of the gift DVD early on, include memorable moments with the teacher and messages from the children, and create a DVD that will leave lasting memories.

If you have the children make a flower gift out of origami, you’ll end up with a colorful bouquet that could make the thank-you party even more special.

Let’s plan the timing of the presentations and other details so we can create a fun and heartwarming appreciation party.

So cute! Herbarium

First time! Trying herbarium crafts with kids❣️ [Super easy! All from the 100-yen shop] Perfect for graduations, preschool graduations, or a friend’s birthday 📛 #gift #handmade #100yenShop #easy
So cute! Herbarium

Herbariums are popular as interior decor.

They’re easy to make—just put parts and oil into a container you like and close the lid—so they’re great for kids’ crafts.

First, cut a clear sheet to fit inside the container and stick on any stickers you like.

Place it in the container, then add the flowers.

Adjust the positions of the sheet and flowers to design the look, and then pour in the oil.

Finish by decorating the container, and you’re done! Try changing the parts and decorations you use to create different kinds of herbariums.

Handmade card with washi tape garland

[Graduation Ceremony/Birthday] Handmade Message Card with Washi Tape Garland [Gift Craft]
Handmade card with washi tape garland

Perfect for expressing your feelings! Here are some handmade ideas for message cards.

The main design is a garland made with washi tape.

First, attach pieces of washi tape to a string at equal intervals.

Fold each piece of tape over the string so it sandwiches it, then trim the corners to make a flag shape.

Punch holes in the base card, thread the garland string through, and stick it down at a diagonal.

Add a photo of the child, write their name and your message, and you’re done!

Milk carton accessory case

Here’s an idea for making a small container from a milk carton.

First, cut out the container’s net (template) from the milk carton.

The size is up to you, but it’s recommended to cut it so that one side of the carton becomes the bottom of the container.

Glue rectangular construction paper to both the front and back of the template, then fold along the crease lines to form a box.

Fold the corners so they stick outwards.

Punch holes in the protruding corners and tie a ribbon to finish.

Plain construction paper is fine, but if you paint a colorful design on the outside with paints, you can make use of painting techniques and enjoy an even more engaging craft time.

Shortcake memo stand

A memo stand is a great gift idea for a teacher who has helped you.

It’s a practical way to hold notes, and it’s nice that it can sit on a desk to be enjoyed anytime.

Use yellow and white clay and a ring mold to make the base.

For the fruit, use decorative parts, and for the cream, use whipped decoration.

Finish by attaching the memo-holding stand, and you’re done.

You can find clay, ring molds, whipped decorations, and more at 100-yen shops or craft stores, so pick items that match the look you want and give it a try.

candy bouquet

[100-Yen DIY] How to Make a Candy Bouquet ♡
candy bouquet

Many children want to give their teacher a bouquet of flowers.

However, the downside of giving fresh flowers is that they can be difficult for the recipient to take care of.

On the other hand, an artificial flower bouquet can feel a bit lackluster.

That’s why I’d like to introduce candy bouquets.

These are bouquets made by combining candies and artificial flowers.

They’re characterized by an adorable look, as if they’ve popped out of a picture book.

If you’re making one as a group, a fun method is to have each person choose one artificial flower or one candy.
