Dancing HeroOginome Yōko

The song, released in 1985, made a comeback in 2017 when the dance club of Tomioka High School in Osaka performed it as the “Bubble Dance.” When you dance it, be sure to go all-in with a bubbly, shoulder-padded outfit and bold, thick-eyebrow makeup.
Even at the time of the original release, there were hand and foot moves in the intro and other parts, and you’ll often see people dancing those as well.
It might be fun to try mixing both the 1985-era moves and the Bubble Dance together.
Go for it!Urufuruzu

This is Ulfuls’ ninth single, released in 1995.
There’s a well-known anecdote that vocalist Tortoise Matsumoto was encouraged by Tetsuya Komuro to write a disco-style song, which led to its composition.
It’s interesting that, in 1995 when most hits were tied to commercials or other promotions, this song became a hit without any tie-in.
Later, Tortoise Matsumoto said he doesn’t really like high-energy “age-age” songs like this one, but since it turned out to be a fun, danceable disco track, everyone can have a great time dancing to it however they like!
Follow MeE-girls
E-girls’ third single “Follow Me,” released in 2012.
As you’d expect from E-girls, it’s a cute, feminine song with matching choreography! It’s a great pick for girls who love to dance.
The choreography is a bit challenging, so if elementary school kids around the middle grades are going to perform it, it might be better to simplify the moves a little.
Laugh it off ~ Xiao Yi Xiao! ~Momoiro Kurōbā Zetto

The theme song of the film “Crayon Shin-chan: Burst Serving! Kung Fu Boys ~Ramen Rebellion~.” The members of Momoiro Clover Z and Shin-chan teach the dance choreography, so let’s dance along together! There are many hand-based moves, so even kindergarteners should find it easy to imitate.
The title “Warai-Warai” carries the meaning of smiling/laughing, so be sure not to forget your smile when you dance!
ain’t on the map yetNulbarich

A track included on the album H.O.T.
In the music video, tons of viewers wondered, “Who’s the boy dancing for his favorite teacher?” It turns out he was TAKERU, then a middle schooler and an incredible dancer who appeared in many commercials.
Even Daichi Miura reportedly praised him! It might be tough to imitate his refined moves from head to toe, but if you could pull it off, that special someone you admire might just think, “Amazing!”
No matter what I do, it’s no good.Okazaki Taiiku

Okazaki Taiiku’s song “Nani wo Yattemo Akan wa” (“Nothing I Do Works”).
This track was used as part of a project on the TV-and-online variety show “Tengo-chan,” where Okazaki Taiiku and the band Yabai T-Shirts Yasan played around with various concepts to popularize the appeal of belly drumming.
The choreography is simply “freely drum on your belly”! It might not qualify as a dance, but kids can have fun with just this.
Give belly drumming a try sometime!
Make you happyNiziU

As everyone knows, NiziU is a national girl group that debuted in 2020.
They’re loved by a wide range of people—young and old, men and women—and have many fans overseas as well.
“Make you happy” is the song they released when NiziU was formed and made their pre-debut.
It’s a signature track in which the members, having overcome many trials, finally blossom and captured the public’s attention.
The jump-rope dance in the chorus was imitated by many people.
It’s also a great recommendation as a kids’ dance song!
