Learning to Play is a U.S.-born piano method notable for its clean layouts with minimal explanations.

In addition to the four main textbooks, titles like Rock, Rhythm and Ragtime for developing a sense of rhythm and the duet collection Fun for Two are also available.

Each book is thin and easy to progress through, so as the texts level up, students can stay highly motivated to continue practicing.

If the pace feels too fast, we recommend using it alongside other materials.

As a best-selling introductory piano course, “Minna no Organ Piano Book” has maintained its popularity for many years.

The main texts consist of four volumes (1 through 4), and corresponding workbooks are also available.

One feature is that students begin early on by reading the grand staff and practicing hands together, allowing them to learn smoothly without developing an aversion to the bass clef or two-hand playing.

Teacher accompaniment parts are included as well, so students can experience a richer sound in lessons than when practicing alone.
