Useful for childcare! Today’s recommended recreations, including finger plays and games! (21–30)
Crawling under the rope

Have the teacher make something like a finish line tape, and try passing through it! You can run or walk—either is fine.
The act of setting a goal and heading toward it piques children’s curiosity.
It might be even more exciting if you place some obstacles in between!
Indoor beanbag toss

Speaking of tamaire (ball toss), it’s a classic event at school sports days, right? Let’s try enjoying that ball toss game indoors! Have one person act as the “basket” by holding an umbrella or a cardboard box above their head.
Then use light balls, beanbags, or other soft items that won’t cause any harm if they hit something as the “balls.” Set a time limit and compete to see how many balls you can get in.
Ball-carrying game

It’s a game where you place a ping-pong ball or a small ball on a ladle and carry it without dropping it.
It gets even more challenging and fun if there are curves or obstacles between the start and the goal.
The difficulty also changes with the size of the ball, so even small children can enjoy it if you use a larger ball.
Jigsaw puzzle

Let’s try a jigsaw puzzle that pieces together to make a single picture! Jigsaw puzzles are perfect for kids because they nurture imagination, intuition, and logical, theoretical thinking.
They also boost concentration, which improves memory.
There are plenty of versions with large pieces designed for children, not just ones with tiny parts, so pick one featuring your favorite anime and give it a try!
Flag-raising game

Following the person calling out commands like “Raise red, raise white, don’t lower red, lower white,” you raise and lower the flags accordingly.
Even without flags, you can easily make them by rolling origami paper and newspaper into sticks.
As the speed gradually increases, it gets challenging even for adults, so it should be a lot of fun.
In conclusion
We introduced many recreational activities you can enjoy today.
There were plenty of ideas, from finger plays and traditional children’s songs you can enjoy on your own to dances and games for groups.
