JPN/INTL Mix [Danceable at Home] Recommended Latest Dance Music [2026] (71–80)
Brainwashing feat. DOGMA & Chinza DOPENESS (Prod. Chaki Zulu)Awich

Awich, a songstress from Okinawa whose work with the charismatic producer Chaki Zulu had already earned praise, completely blew me away with this track.
Featuring Chinza DOPENESS was a real shock—who could have predicted that collaboration? The first thing that struck me when I listened was how innovative the sound design is; I don’t think there’s anything else in Japanese music that commits to this level.
The period-drama-style music video is cool too.
RED feat. SIRUPBASI

The track “RED feat.
SIRUP,” included on the solo album Setsu-ai, released for the first time in about two years and two months since 2017.
It’s perfect for gently swaying your body.
BASI, who also serves as the rapper for the hip-hop band Insist, delivers a uniquely deep sound that sets him apart from the band—well worth noting.
How about riding the chill vibes and dancing along at a relaxed pace?
Red MindBlack Boboi

The song’s mysterious vibe might divide opinions, but you can’t help being drawn into its eerie, enchanting world! This is a track by Black Boboi that takes you deep into that unique atmosphere.
Spiritual…
Rather than sticking to set dance moves, you’ll want to move exactly as you feel the music.
If that’s you, this one’s highly recommended.
Polyphonix feat. Kanae AsabaBlossom

This track is by MK—who won a prize in a remix contest for American producer BT, achieved the rare feat for a Japanese artist of releasing on the top Dutch label Armada Music, contributed music to the rhythm game Beatmania IIDX, and arranged J-pop, actively working in the domestic and international dance music scene—and nana, the head of the creative team “Sevencolors,” who began working as a club DJ in 2004, performed at various venues mainly in Tokyo alongside many notable artists, and since 2010 has released numerous tracks using VOCALOID and produced remixes for game music and more.
The two formed the creator unit Polyphonix in 2014, aligned by a shared intent to bring even more innovative sounds to Japan’s EDM scene.
This is their track released in February 2019.
It starts off at a relaxed tempo, but then a beat kicks in that makes you want to tap along, gradually ramping up the energy.
O.V.E.R feat. UtaeCARPAINTER

A solo project by DJ Taimei Kawai, a core member of the globally active TREKKIE TRAX.
Among the tracks on the album “Carpainter,” regarded as Carpenter’s masterpiece, this is one of the most popular.
It’s his first work featuring a female singer and a tour de force that crosses over elements of techno, rave, breaks, and future bass.
With its electro-tinged sound, it’s a track that makes you want to move to the beat.
foreverCharli XCX

Amid ongoing lockdowns overseas that keep people from going outside, many musicians have been focusing on outputting new work.
Charli XCX is one of them, using this time productively to create a new album.
This track is one of the songs included on that album, and portions of it had already been shared on social media, where it drew attention.
Radiating a romantic yet somewhat wistful mood, the song carries a synth-pop style in line with the revival trend of 2020, evoking a sense of nostalgia.
She II Feat. jjjDaichi Yamamoto

Daichi Yamamoto is a bilingual rapper based in Kyoto, born to a Japanese father and a Jamaican mother.
On his laid-back, jazzy, chill track “She II feat.
jjj,” he collaborates with jjj, a rapper and trackmaker from the Tokyo street-repping hip-hop group flashbacks.
With its distinctive sense of melancholy and groove, and a relaxed yet tight rap delivery, the song quickly won over hip-hop heads across Japan.
