And it’s the same in music.
Throughout the long history of Japanese music, there are countless songs that use the word “love.” So this time, I’ll be introducing popular songs that have the character for “love” (愛) in their titles.

It’s a song by the rock band ACE COLLECTION, released in April 2023.

Known by the abbreviation “Kinpri,” King & Prince is a duo idol group whose members are also highly acclaimed as actors and TV personalities.
Their 14th single, “Itoshi Ikiru Koto,” released as a double A-side with “MAGIC WORD,” was chosen as the theme song for the film “Court Game.” Its lyrics evoke the preciousness of loving someone, conveying a sentimentality that still somehow feels forward-looking.
