Male-Male Duet (51–60)
I know it’s bothersome, but…Tonneruzu

Now firmly established as legendary comedians who have also released numerous classic songs, Tunnels delivered many memorable tracks.
Their 11th single, “Meiwaku Deshou ga…”—also covered by Hiroshi Itsuki—is a number where you’ll want to pay attention to the spoken passages that recall the TV drama “Zenryaku Ofukuro-sama.” The melody, where Takaaki Ishibashi’s and Noritake Kinashi’s distinct voices intertwine, perfectly suits its wistful arrangement.
It’s a lyrical ballad that belies its origins as a comic song.
GET BACKyuzu

Speaking of Yuzu, it’s all about Iwasawa’s beautiful high harmonies on top and Kitagawa’s steady lower harmonies, right? Everyone’s probably thought at least once, “I want to try harmonizing to a Yuzu song!” Yuzu’s harmonies are relatively easy to pick out, so they’re satisfying to listen to and make a great entry point to try.
In GET BACK, Kitagawa comes in with the lower part right from the start—it sounds so cool! There are also call-and-response sections unique to the duo, and in the chorus they switch between unison and harmony, making it a really fun song to sing as a pair! Lower harmonies can be hard to hear and tricky at first, but try practicing with resources like YouTube.
SAY YESCHAGE and ASKA

The legendary drama The 101st Proposal needs no introduction.
CHAGE and ASKA’s SAY YES was created with hints drawn from that story.
Even if you’ve never seen the drama, you probably know this song.
Vocal techniques like harmonies are important, but first I’d like you to try singing it with real feeling in the lyrics.
If you focus too much on imitating the original performance, it can end up sounding like an impersonation, so I also recommend adding your own arrangement.
Summer Colorsyuzu

Every summer, I can’t help wanting to listen to and sing “Natsuiro.” It’s Yuzu’s major-label debut single, released in 1998.
It’s a sparkling song that feels like a single drop packed with summer vacation memories! Of course it’s great for two men to sing, but since the key is on the higher side, it also works well for two women or a mixed duet.
Using a guitar and tambourine might bring you even closer to the duo’s original vibe.
It’s a song everyone can sing together—and one that always gets the crowd going!
Male-male duets (61–70)
Ti AmoEXILE

It’s a gentle yet passionate track by EXILE that conveys the feeling of love quietly blazing up inside.
The song’s title and the flamenco guitar-infused sound evoke a sensual kind of affection.
And as you’d expect from EXILE, the layered vocals are a highlight—ATSUSHI and TAKAHIRO’s powerful harmonies further amplify the passionate atmosphere.
While depicting unrequited love, it also expresses emotions growing larger, making it a song where you can feel a burning heart along with a bittersweet sense of yearning.
Like a white cloudsaruganseki

It’s a song that can be called the signature track of the comedy duo Saruganseki.
Through the variety show ‘Susume! Denpa Shonen’ and its Eurasia hitchhiking project, they secured a CD debut, and the song became a big hit.
The sound, which evokes an acoustic guitar solo performance, conjures a refreshing sense of youth.
The lyrics, which seem to take travel as their theme, convey hope for the future while also reflecting on the hitchhiking project—a turning point for the two—and giving a sense of deepening trust.
Although the duo disbanded after their television success and various CD releases, it’s a song that Hiroiki Ariyoshi sometimes performs as one of his own numbers.
YC&K

A track by C&K, a male duo consisting of CLIEVY with his super high-tone voice and KEEN with his silky voice.
CLIEVY’s high tones are so demanding that even many women find them challenging! It’s recommended not only for male duets but also for female duets.
If two men are singing, lowering the key is better, but trying the high tones is OK too!
