A musician based in Sapporo.

In the band color chord, formed in 2004, he handled vocals and bass, winning a worldwide cover competition for the L.A.

folk-rock band Dawes.

In 2016, they released the nationally distributed mini-album “Kurashi,” but the band went on hiatus in September.

From October of the same year, he began solo activities under the name Yui Aoyagi, releasing his first demo “29” the following month.

He is currently active mainly in a band setup.

As a filmmaker, he has directed and edited 10 music videos.

As a writer, he has contributed columns to NAGISA and Kamens.
