Bring back that wonderful morning once moreGōruden Bonbā

Golden Bomber, a visual kei air band that has gained popularity for their solid musicianship and live performances that always exceed expectations.

The track “Ano Subarashii Asa o Mou Ichido,” included on their 14th single “101st Curse,” was used as the theme song for the TV program Mezamashi Doyoubi from October 12, 2013 to March 29, 2014.

The lyrics depict the scene of another morning arriving and the start of an unchanging daily routine, even as one reminisces about time spent with a lover—evoking the image of someone unable to stop amid the busyness of everyday life.

It’s a catchy pop tune with a comfortable melody and ensemble that carries a touch of nostalgia.

youYūsuke

Kimi, sung by Yusuke, was the theme song for Mezamashi Doyoubi, the Saturday edition of Mezamashi TV.

It aired from October 2014 to March 2015.

The song was created based on the encounters and feelings Yusuke gained while actually trying out various jobs for the popular Mezamashi Doyoubi segment YOU no GOOD JOB.

It’s a warm message song that conveys the connections between people, and it’s a track that gives you a push before starting work in the morning.

Tenohira wo Taiyou ni, a famous children’s song written by Takashi Yanase, the creator of Anpanman.

The version used on the program in July and August 2004 was covered by Hitomi Shimatani.

It was included as a limited bonus track on the first-press edition of Shimatani’s 2004 album “Tsuioku + LOVE LETTER.” The arrangement is a cool, dance-tune style that differs from the original.

Tomorrow is…Kimura Yoshino

A morning song that makes you want to listen as you dress up and head out the door: “Ashita wa…”.

It’s a track by Yoshino Kimura, who continues to shine as a leading actress even in the Reiwa era, included on her 2000 album “GIRL.” It aired as the opening theme from April 2000 to March 2001.

With a vibe reminiscent of city pop, it’s a number I’d recommend to fans of that style and of Mariya Takeuchi.

It’s also noteworthy that Masataka Matsutoya handled production, lyrics, and composition.

It gives a breezy impression similar to “Genki wo Dashite,” letting you relax and feel at ease.
