A fun jazz festival in Minami. It will be held along the Dotonbori Promenade (the Tombori Riverwalk area). Building on the jazz event previously held as the Minami Jazz Walk, the aim is to evolve it into a uniquely Osaka waterfront jazz festival. Centered on the Tombori Riverwalk, jazz bands active in Osaka (professionals, amateurs, and students) will participate to energize the event. Tickets for the live performances on the river-stage are on sale (¥1,000), but viewing at other locations is free. As a pre-festival on Saturday, 10/22, enjoy a big band stage at OCAT and a lively jazz parade at Minatomachi Riverplace and along the Tombori Riverwalk. In addition, a Jazz Boat will operate on the Dotonbori River from the Minatomachi Riverplace dock (boarding fee ¥1,800). We look forward to welcoming you on a day when Minami overflows with jazz.
