A Comeback StoryTHE ORAL CIGARETTES

THE ORAL CIGARETTES is a four-piece rock band from Nara Prefecture.
This will be their first appearance at Kyoto Daisakusen.
They’ve already become festival regulars over the past few years, but as a band from the Kansai region, performing at Kyoto Daisakusen must be something they’ve longed for even more than other festivals.
I’m from Nara as well and have been watching their shows since before their major-label debut, so I’m incredibly excited!
FriendsThe BONEZ

The four-piece rock band The BONEZ—frontman JESSE from RIZE, former RIZE member NAKA, and PTP’s rhythm section T$UYO$HI and ZAX—will be performing again this year, following last year’s appearance.
For fans, this dream-come-true band brings together their individual careers to deliver exceptional musicianship, outstanding taste, and an overflowing aura that makes for an overwhelmingly powerful live show.
They’re likely to turn the Ushiwaka stage into a live house again this year.
MEGA SHAKE IT!Kyūso Nekokami

Kyuso Nekokami is a five-member rock band.
Since their major debut in 2014, their appeal has been their fun, poppy, and catchy songs, paired with lyrics full of humor that still carry a sharp satirical edge.
The targets of that sharpness are intriguingly chosen, and they’ve become hugely popular, especially among high school and college students.
This track is a particularly fun one, with a melody line that shifts and changes constantly.
Gather round! Party people!Yabai T-shatsu Yasan

The three-piece rock band Yabai T-Shirts Yasan from Osaka is making their first appearance at Kyoto Daisakusen.
Despite not belonging to any agency or label and having no nationally distributed releases, they’ve already been booked for many festivals this year and are a band drawing a lot of attention right now.
Their website is so slapdash it’ll make you go “Seriously?” lol.
The phrases on the top page—“piano rock band” and “We want to play with Taylor Swift!”—really catch the eye.
