Monobright’s famous and popular songs

Monobright plays quirky rock-pop rooted in UK rock, with a uniquely offbeat sensibility.

At first glance, their songs may seem idiosyncratic, but once you listen, you’ll be hooked—the very quirks make them highly addictive.

The comfort of their melodic lines is simply irresistible.

A song written specifically as the theme for the film After School.

It was the band’s first movie theme song and served as the May opening theme for TBS’s COUNT DOWN TV.

The music video features Yo Oizumi.

While it exudes a sense of youth, its refreshing, catchy melody is pleasing to the ear.

Heartbeatmonoburaito

A track from the distinctive album Shinzo Live-rations, which was recorded entirely live.

Among their songs, this one is especially catchy and pop, and in the latter half you can hear the audience who came to the live recording singing along with a “la-la-la-la~” chorus.

The music video was filmed alongside the live recording, capturing the atmosphere of the day extremely well.

This song, created around the theme of “Monobright that never sleeps = Monobright that never stays,” portrays the hope, anticipation, and perhaps the poignancy that comes with the transition from night to morning.

The SPECIAL MUSIC VIDEO includes footage from a live performance held in 2015, making it a highly engaging MV to watch!

Released in 2015 alongside the announcement of the launch of kiraku records, this was Monobright’s first release in two years.

The song sings about the admiration and aspirations people hold while life’s busy days continue on.

With a gentle, warm melody, it’s a rock number you’ll want to listen to when winter comes.

Another Seamonoburaito

A track included on their second major album, “monobright two.” Written by guitarist-vocalist Momono for the final graduating class of the evening dairy science program at his alma mater, Hokkaido Betsukai High School, the song is performed not with a band arrangement but as a piano-and-vocal piece.

It’s a wistful song that’s perfect for graduation season.

Summer Meloromanticmonoburaito

Summer Meloromanticmonoburaito

A remake of a song from Monobright’s amateur era.

It’s a refreshing track that lets you feel dappled sunlight sparkling through the guitar and drums.

At the same time, its bittersweet lyrics about parting with a loved one make it perfect for the end of summer.

It’s the third track on the mini-album “Ano Tōmeikan to Shōnen” (That Transparency and the Boy).

Unfinished Riotmonoburaito

This track, which became Monobright’s debut single, features their early, rugged sound paired with lyrics rich in wordplay that make abundant use of repetition.

The music video, with its technical use of typography, is also distinctive and highly original—well worth a watch.
