Colorful cards you just cut and paste
This is a delightful card idea that expresses flowers by randomly cutting and pasting colored film.
By not over-refining the shapes, the layers and translucency of the colors become expressions in themselves, creating a unique finish every time.
The freely arranged pieces create a light, airy impression, making it a card you’ll never get tired of looking at.
Draw the stems with colored pencils, and add stickers or other embellishments if you like—this is part of the fun of making it.
Finally, write your message to complete a card that conveys both visual joy and heartfelt sentiment.
Give it a try!

This is a message card featuring a striking bouquet made by layering tissue paper.
Using tissue paper and doilies creates a soft, three-dimensional effect that gives a gentle look and feel.
Depending on the color combinations, it can turn out cute or more subdued, making the crafting process enjoyable too.
For the background, use construction paper with your message written on it; layering a paper doily and a slightly smaller circular piece of construction paper on top and folding them adds dimension and makes the bouquet stand out.
Adding a ribbon brings the whole piece together, making it perfect as a gift.
How about making one for Mother’s Day?

Pooh’s message card

This card features a charming design that makes you smile the moment you see Pooh slowly peeking out from a brown honey pot.
By shaping it with origami, it gains a soft three-dimensional feel that conveys a warmth you can’t get from a flat surface alone.
Pooh’s expression peeking out from the pot adds a delightful accent, spreading a cozy atmosphere throughout.
Add a message on the honey pot, and it will feel as if Pooh himself is delivering your sentiments.
It’s a playful idea for a Mother’s Day card.

Here’s an idea for a card featuring a striking, three-dimensional, oversized ribbon.
Make the base by folding a sheet of construction paper in half.
On the cover, adhere a strip of construction paper and a cross of white paper on top.
Adding a large ribbon over this will make the card look like a present.
To create the ribbon, cut slits from each of the four corners of a square piece of construction paper toward the center, then glue the divided corners to the center.
Adding highlights with a white pen will give the ribbon even more dimension.
Bouquet message card

These are adorable message cards shaped like bouquets! There are two types: one that opens like a bouquet with a space inside for writing your message, and another where each flower coming out of the bouquet is an individual message card.
The bouquet motif is perfect for graduation ceremonies at kindergartens.
They’re cute enough to display, so they’re sure to become message cards you’ll want to keep forever.
If you fold the flower and leaf parts three-dimensionally as you would with origami, the finish will look even more polished!
Handmade scratch card

For a Mother’s Day message card with a surprise twist, we recommend a handmade scratch card.
How about creating a card that truly conveys your appreciation to your mom? First, prepare a mixture of dish soap and acrylic paint.
Next, draw circles and messages on cardstock, then rub candle wax over the circle areas.
After that, paint over the circles with the mixed liquid to cover them, and you’re done.
When the circles are scratched off with a coin, words like “date,” “dinner,” or “shoulder massage” appear—give this unique card a try!
Fluttering Heart Card

This is a message card featuring fluttery, three-dimensional hearts that pop up.
It’s perfect for Mother’s Day to express love and gratitude to your mom.
First, prepare construction paper in various colors and patterns, and make lots of small hearts.
Crease each heart down the center, apply glue to only one half, and attach them to a folded piece of cardstock.
Combine the pieces to form a heart, add a ribbon at the bottom, and it’s complete.
Give it along with a message conveying your everyday appreciation.
