Message lease

There are times when you might want to write a letter and give it, or include a message card with a gift.
In that case, I’d like to introduce the “message wreath.” This involves sticking small origami carnations onto a circular message card.
Not only does it look unique, but it also creates a strong Mother’s Day feel.
However, the most important thing is the content of your message.
Try writing a heartfelt note that clearly conveys your everyday gratitude.
Carnation card

Try making a three-dimensional card with a carnation motif! Shape the base construction paper while cutting a circular slit like a small window.
The carnation flowers are made by combining small pieces of origami.
If you have scissors that cut with a zigzag edge, they’re recommended because they make the carnation petals look more realistic.
Attach the flowers so they pop out from the circular window, decorate with a ribbon, and you’re done! Inside the card, write a message or paste photos of your memories.
Carnation message card

Let’s make a lovely carnation-shaped message card that will look wonderful when attached to a Mother’s Day gift.
You can write a short message on the back.
You can use a single color of origami paper like pink or red, or patterned origami for a colorful look, which is also recommended.
The folding method is very simple, but cutting the top edge with pinking shears makes it look more luxurious.
Fold a quarter-sized sheet of origami in half to make the green stem, attach it, and you’re done.
If you fold in the lower part of the carnation, it can also become a dandelion.
Candy Machine Card

This is a recommended idea for anyone unsure about what kind of vibe to give their message card.
Using construction paper and colored pencils, try making a message card with a pop and adorable feel.
If you’re not confident in your drawing skills, you can use templates and patterns—perfect for beginners, which is a nice plus! A cute card with a little mechanism will also make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift.

The pull-tab mechanism is so fun! Let me share an idea for a surprise slider card.
Simply writing a message and giving it is nice, but adding a mechanism builds in a surprise element, so I highly recommend it! Since it’s for Mother’s Day, this message card features a carnation as the focal point, but you could use any flower motif you like.
Above all, the process of creating it while thinking of the recipient is what matters most, isn’t it? Definitely give it a try!

A foldable surprise card that reveals a fun element the moment it’s opened is a perfect idea for a Mother’s Day gift.
Fold a sheet of construction paper in half horizontally and crease it well.
Fold all four corners inward toward the crease, then fold the top, bottom, left, and right to make it compact.
Because the design spreads out when the card is opened, adding colorful illustrations and heartfelt messages makes it even more appealing.
Folding the paper in from the top and bottom enhances the surprise when opened, creating a special card your mom will love.
It’s a unique message card filled with playfulness and gratitude.

So happy to receive it! Let me share some handprint art card ideas.
Handprint art is wonderful because it preserves family memories.
Since children’s handprints have a unique shape, you can really feel their growth.
Looking back at those handprints after your child has grown will surely be moving.
It’s also fun that you can change the vibe by using ribbons or cute origami! It makes the perfect gift for a mom who watches her child’s growth by their side every day.
