“Footsteps ~Be Strong,” produced in response to an enthusiastic offer to serve as the theme song for the 2016 film Nobunaga Concerto starring Shun Oguri, was Mr.Children’s first self-produced track.

Marking a major departure from their previous setup, it symbolizes the feeling of “taking a new step forward as Mr.Children.” The lyrics repeatedly feature positive words like “step,” “new,” and “future,” making it an uplifting song—so when you play it on piano, aim for a bright, clear tone!
