Moonwalkmonobright
Monobright is a rock band that went on hiatus in 2017.
Except for keyboardist Hisaka Akira, who had already left the group by the time of the hiatus, all the members were from Hokkaido, though from different municipalities.
The Hokkaido-born members graduated from the same vocational school in Sapporo and began performing as official band members around 2006.
They later moved to Tokyo and made their major debut in 2007 with the single “Mikansei Riot.” Their appeal lies in a guitar sound that’s both familiar to the ear and charged with a passionate vibe.
