Autumn Music Festival Schedule Summary [2026]

RAMP JAM FESTIVAL is a free outdoor festival held annually at the special HOWA Park venue in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture. It features an open-air live stage by top-tier artists gathered from within and outside the prefecture, along with one of the largest markets in Mie that spreads along the brick-style walkway leading to the stage. Aiming to become a new symbol of Mie, it will be held on October 3, 2026.

NEIGHBORGOOD MUSIC FESTIVAL is a community-driven music festival launched by volunteers in Yao, Osaka. Curry shop owners, flower growers, musicians, and other neighborhood friends come together under the vision of “placing music right next to everyday life and connecting the city, people, and culture.” At the Kyūhōji Ryokuchi Landscape Plaza, the festival brings together good music and a good market, and is cherished as a fun event that links the areas of Yao, Higashi-Osaka, and Hirano Ward. The 2026 edition is scheduled for October.

SAKATA Konan Fest is a seaside music event born from the desire to revitalize Sakata and make it even more attractive through the power of music. Amid ongoing population decline and youth outflow, we hope music will connect people and breathe new energy into the city. The festival is organized by the SAKATA Konan Fest Executive Committee, co-hosted by the Konan Community Promotion Association, and supported by the City of Sakata. Aiming for a warm yet exhilarating day where both locals and visitors from afar can enjoy themselves together under the Sakata sky, it will be held on October 4, 2026, at the Konan Community Center.

Cosquín en Japón is Japan’s largest folklore (Latin American music) festival, held in Kawamata, Fukushima Prefecture since 1975. Named in homage to the music festival in Cosquín, Argentina, the venue is filled with the rustic tones produced by Andean instruments such as the quena, charango, and bombo. In the preliminary Cosquín Parade, townspeople march in South American traditional costumes, transforming the entire town into a South American scene. It will be held over three days in October 2026.
