The Choshi-born music festival “Umi sa Utau-be” is a handmade event by local youth, set at the former Choshi Municipal Dairoku Junior High School, which has been closed. Under the concept of “reviving the town with music through a festival [Sai-se],” it is run by an executive committee led by representative Teruki. In addition to live performances by artists selected through a public audition, a market featuring local food vendors will be held simultaneously. In January 2026, it will add a splash of musical color to Choshi’s winter.
