The Niseko Jazz Festival is a jazz fest held in Niseko Hirafu, Kutchan, Hokkaido, in collaboration with Blue Note Tokyo. Under the theme “FEEL THE RHYTHM,” the festival brings together the “now” and the “legends” of Japanese jazz in a picture-perfect mountain resort. The event features two parts: a day session at Niseko Tokyu Grand HIRAFU and a night session on a special stage at Setsu Niseko, with artists including TOKU New Scope and Orquesta de la Luz. The Hakodate Dynamite Summer Fest is a southern Hokkaido entertainment festival held every year over the three-day weekend that includes Marine Day in July, taking place throughout the city of Hakodate. “DOHOKU DANCE FES 2026” is a new, ambitious festival that fuses the sea, dance, and music, organized by the Haboro, Hokkaido dance team LUSH☆DANCE SCHOOL. Under the theme “Revitalizing our town through dance,” it aims to revive the once-beloved but discontinued Haboro Summer Live tradition and bring renewed energy to the local community. The venue is Haboro Sunset Beach, with the event scheduled for July 2026.

Monbetsu Port FestivalHokkaido, Fri 7/24–Sun 7/26
The Monbetsu Port Festival is a signature summer celebration of Monbetsu City, Hokkaido, originating from the prewar “Port Festival” and held annually since its first edition in 1955 to give thanks for the benefits brought by the Port of Monbetsu. Over 100 food and game stalls line the area around the former station-front street, and a wide array of events unfolds on the special stage and in the Honcho 4-chome pedestrian zone. The main highlight is the Okhotsk Fireworks Festival, which lights up the Okhotsk night sky. In 2026, it will be held over three days from July 24 to 26.

Tomakomai Music Festival Project TOMACONHokkaido, Sat 7/25–Sun 7/26
The Tomakomai Music Festival Project, TOMACON, is a city-sponsored music festival organized by the Lifelong Learning Division of Tomakomai City, Hokkaido. It is held as a concert open to all genres and generations, including registrants of the Artist Bank as well as general cultural groups and individuals. The venue is the stage in front of the fountain at Idemitsu Culture Park—affectionately known as the Citizens’ Cultural Park—and it is held concurrently with the Tomakomai Art Festival. In 2026, it will take place in July.
