Hit and popular songs by My Little Lover
Here’s a song by My Little Lover, which is now the solo project of akko, who serves as the vocalist.
When the group first formed, they were a trio with official members on guitar and keyboards.
At that time, the keyboardist was Takeshi Kobayashi, who now also produces Mr.
Children, and My Little Lover’s music was hugely popular from their debut.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time listener, please take your time and give it a careful listen.

Fallin’ BlueMairitoru Rabā

Included on their third album, “NEW ADVENTURE.” Among an album with many singles, it’s one of the few original tracks, yet it makes a strong impression.
In fact, it matches the overall mood of the album.
The melody is steady and understated, yet tinged with melancholy.
ShuffleMairitoru Rabā

Released on August 20, 1997 (Heisei 9).
It’s a fast-paced song with a fresh summer vibe, similar to “Shiroi Kite.” It peaked at No.
4 and sold 301,000 copies.
My Little Lover’s sales were gradually starting to decline.

Children went on hiatus as well, leading to a drop in rankings.

A World Without SoundMairitoru Rabā

Released on February 4, 2009.
It was the theme song for the TBS daytime drama “Love Letter.” It’s a characteristically My Little Lover dramatic track, finished as a medium-tempo number with a somewhat wistful feel.
It peaked at No.
8 and sold 29,000 copies.
This marked their first Top 10 entry in roughly 10 years, since “DESTINY.”
evergreenMairitoru Rabā

The title track of the album “evergreen,” released in December 1995.
Amid the huge success of the single “Hello, Again ~A Place of Longing~,” the album included all the singles since their debut and sold about 2.8 million copies.
Placed as the final track, this song has a grand sense of scale, like the evergreen forest of its title.
It’s a masterpiece worthy of closing such a highly polished album.
Starting with this album, producer Takeshi Kobayashi joined the band as a member.
DaysMairitoru Rabā
A double A-side single with CRAZY LOVE.
It was the commercial song for JAL’s Hokkaido Summer Campaign.
In addition to the refreshing feel of songs like “Shiroi Kite” and “Shuffle,” it’s a track that evokes the grandeur of Hokkaido.
There are many airline commercial songs, but this is a masterpiece that fits air travel perfectly.
YES ?free flower?Mairitoru Rabā

Released on December 2, 1996 (Heisei 9).
Unlike previous songs that were filled with romantic feelings, the lyrics are subdued and matter-of-fact.
Perhaps the focus is more on showcasing the sound.
It draws you in.
It was a song featured in the film Swallowtail.
It reached No.
1 on the Oricon chart and sold 455,000 copies.
DelicacyMairitoru Rabā

The B-side of the single “Hello, Again ~The Place I’ve Always Known~.” The vibe of the song is close to “Man & Woman.” The mid-’90s J-pop scene was in a CD boom, but there were many male-vocal bands, and idol singers were struggling.
Among female vocalists, Dreams Come True and ZARD were holding their own, but akko’s world—stylish and cute like this song—felt uniquely fresh.
A different version is included on the first album “evergreen.”
