The program that wrapped up Nettou Koshien in 2007 featured Ulfuls’ 25th single “Eenenn” as the ending theme.

In 2007, Ulfuls handled both the opening and ending theme songs.

The Kansai dialect title “Eenenn” (“It’s all good”) captures the charm of high school baseball—that it’s wonderful whether you win or lose.

It’s a simple, fast-paced rock ’n’ roll number in true Ulfuls fashion, and it’s a song I highly recommend when you’re feeling down or need a boost!

“On Your Side” is a track included on Superfly’s fifth album, “WHITE,” released in 2015.

It was written as the ABC Summer High School Baseball support song and the theme for “Nettou Koshien.” Composed by Los Angeles–born songwriter Bonnie McKee, “On Your Side” is a grand medium-tempo ballad whose lyrics—expressing the desire to be there for you—resonate with the friendships of high school baseball players, making it a beloved classic.

There’s even an anecdote that Superfly was so moved during recording that she couldn’t sing for a moment.
