Every single one is brilliant, and no matter which one you watch, you’ll end up laughing out loud.

Fork bending

Like spoon bending, this is a super nostalgic bit for certain generations, but since many modern magicians also perform it, it should resonate with people of all ages.

Doburock, the comedy duo that won the 2019 King of Conte, are known for their guitar-and-vocal routines—so-called musical comedy bits—and for boldly leaning into dirty jokes ever since their first TV appearances (lol).

Their unexpectedly solid guitar playing and singing also add to the laughs.

At company parties, a little light adult humor can really liven things up if there’s alcohol involved.

plate spinning

The world's easiest-to-understand way to do 'plate spinning,' taught by a pro
plate spinning

Plate spinning is a trick where you spin a plate round and round using a single thin stick.

It’s a classic party act that’s been performed for ages as a quick crowd-pleaser! Watching the plate whirl smoothly in good balance is sure to amaze people.

There are plates made specifically for plate spinning, so be sure to use those.

The key tips are: first, hold the stick near the bottom.

Next, start spinning by guiding the tip of the stick along the inner edge of the rim on the underside of the plate.

Once it stabilizes and you stop the stick’s motion, fix the stick into the small indent at the center of the plate and keep it spinning.

Practice until you really get the hang of it.

Go in fully prepared.

If you’re in a situation where you have to prepare a banquet or entertainment in advance, you can practice and get everything ready, so you can proceed with confidence.

But if it’s sudden, it takes a considerable level of skill.

Let’s make sure no accidents occur.

If possible, it’s also a good idea to prepare flesh-colored undergarments like those worn under swimwear.

Impersonation

Impressions are a staple of party entertainment.

Just mimicking the quirks or catchphrases of people around you can liven things up.

Try exaggerating your manager’s distinctive mannerisms or a coworker’s favorite phrases.

If you want to imitate a celebrity, it’s a good idea to watch tutorial videos on YouTube and practice.

Don’t aim for perfection—having fun is what matters.

It’s also helpful to prepare two or three variations so you can adapt on the fly while reading the room.
