See you in the next life!Satō Naiko

It’s a Vocaloid track that conveys resignation toward the present world and a sense of nihilism, and I find myself irresistibly drawn to it.

Co-created by Noko Sato and Utsunoki, “Best Regards to the Next Life!” is slated for release in January 2026.

The innocent vocals of Kaai Yuki and the UTAU voicebank Wakana’s chorus blend seamlessly into the polished electro sound.

Living while wishing for an end… it’s sure to resonate deeply with anyone worn down by daily life.

On nights when you want to forget everything, why not listen closely and let it sink in?

Glitter gradienturashimasakatasen

This track stands out for its lyrics that portray the deepening closeness with a loved one, layered bit by bit like glitter.

Released in January 2026, it was written as the theme song for the live-action drama “Cosmetic Playlover Season 2.” The harmonies woven by the four members, paired with the crystal-clear melody, leave a pleasantly lingering afterglow.

Additionally, with Yuki Tsujimura participating in the production, the sound achieves a balance of catchiness and freshness.

It’s a pop tune brimming with the sparkle of romance.

LabyrinthMondo Grosso

MONDO GROSSO is a project led by Shinichi Osawa, who is active as a producer and DJ both in Japan and abroad.

After restarting activities for the first time in 14 years, he released an album in June 2017 titled “Nando Demo Atarashiku Umareru” (Reborn Again and Always Starting New), and this track from the album is a masterpiece featuring Hikari Mitsushima on vocals.

Her transparent voice layered with beautiful strings creates a pleasantly floating sensation, as if you’ve wandered into a labyrinth of the night.

The music video, shot in a single take on the streets of Hong Kong, also became a hot topic when it won Best Dance Video at the MTV VMAJ 2017.

With a danceable beat yet a lingering sense of poignancy, the melody gently accompanies the loneliness of sleepless nights.

Be sure to give it a listen as background music in a quiet, tranquil room.

setting sunyoshida takurou

A towering monument in Japanese folk rock, this classic by Takuro Yoshida is etched deeply in many fans’ hearts.

Included on the live album Yoshida Takuro LIVE ’73, released in 1973, it captures the concentrated energy and tension unique to the stage.

The lyrics woven by Osami Okamoto vividly conjure scenes like a short film, and every listen stirs the heart.

In 1989, a remake version was released as a single and was used as the theme song for the TV drama “Ano Natsu ni Dakaretai.” Its powerful band sound transcends the boundaries of folk and never fades with time.
