STONE COLD BREAK10-FEET31rank/position

This is the song that makes you want to dash around during the chorus: “STONE COLD BREAK.” The music video, which progresses in a side-scrolling slow motion, is extremely striking.

It’s a track that’s frequently played live, so when it comes up at a show, run around together with the crowd.

This song, with its strikingly warped bass in the intro, offers a pleasing mix of styles—like the rap in the first verse and the reggae-like section in the middle.

On top of that, the straightforward vibe of the chorus is wonderful.

Pay attention to the lyrics as well, which evoke the pure feelings of childhood.

This is the song that was chosen for Toyota’s “Ractis” commercial and became the catalyst for many people to discover the band.

The track captures the restless urgency of youth and an inescapable sense of longing, carried by TAKUMA’s emotional vocals.

The sound that erupts from a gentle intro feels like it blows away all the pent-up haze in your heart.

Released in February 2006, it’s also included on the album “TWISTER.” The music video is a must-see too: it flips from serious expressions to the members gleefully playing Twister covered in lotion, brimming with their signature playful spirit.

When you’re stuck, lost in worry, this song just might give you the strong push you need.

This song, “Recollection,” is one I personally love, especially for its drum intro.

The lyric “The me of the future tells me: the one who made my dream come true is YOU” is wonderful.

It makes me feel that if I work hard now, I’ll be able to thank my present self in the future—so now is the time to give it my all.

It is included on the collaboration album “6-feat” by 10-FEET and various artists.

Tsuji Ayano’s clear, translucent vocals give the track a refreshing touch.

While it’s an unusual collaboration in terms of musical genre, you’ll be surprised by how well they match.

Spurt syndromer10-FEET

This is a fast-paced rock track by 10-FEET, a three-piece rock band formed in Kyoto in 1997.

It was released digitally in October 2025 as the opening theme for the second cour of the anime Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray.

Their signature mixture sound, rooted in hard rock and punk, runs throughout the song and stirs the listener’s spirit.

It’s their first anime tie-in since “Dai Zero Kan,” the ending theme for the film THE FIRST SLAM DUNK, and it’s a song filled with the desire to reach everyone who faces the world of competition.

It’s a must-listen not only for horse racing fans but for anyone giving their all to a challenge.

wind10-FEET

10-FEET is a three-piece rock band that’s been active since 1997.

Their song “Kaze” (Wind) is a hidden gem from their 2009 album Life is sweet.

The lyric “Rather than a blank white sheet from the start, a dirty white with eraser marks is cooler” is especially great.

It’s the same with love, isn’t it? Of course it’s wonderful to make it to the goal without any misunderstandings, but even more than that, it’s the kind of love where you miss each other again and again, hurt each other, and yet still feel drawn together and end up united in the end… That kind of love is something that really resonates in your thirties.

It would be nice to play this song on your big day and laugh off the complicated past!

The vocals at the beginning of the song are powerful and feel great.

Since the opening impact is strong, like “JUNGLES,” it could work well as BGM when creating a slideshow using live sound effects or photos.

Also, on “6-feat 2,” released in 2014—a collection of 10-FEET collaborations with other artists—this song is performed in collaboration with Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra.

That version is awesome too, so be sure to check it out.
