Parallel Lines – Eve × suis from Yorushika MV
parallel linesEve × suis from Yorushika

“Parallel Lines” depicts the unrequited feelings of a man and a woman who stay close yet never intersect.

With Eve’s warm, enveloping vocals and suis’s simple, charming voice, the frustration of caring for each other but being unable to become lovers is beautifully conveyed.

When someone becomes too familiar, perhaps it’s easy to miss the moment to say something special.

Still, that lingering haze in your heart is proof that you’re not satisfied with keeping things as they are.

Like the ending of this song, why not steel yourself and take the leap to share your feelings?

You know what,are-kun &『yuika’}65rank/position

A duet song for men and women that you’ll want to remember! It might not be very familiar to some of you, but it’s a cute song, so definitely try learning it! In this track, Are-kun sings the main part, and the harmonies are mostly done by Yuika.

There are call-and-response sections and unison parts too, so I think it’s really fun to sing! One thing to note: Are-kun’s part doesn’t change much in range, but Yuika’s part gets busy—she jumps an octave higher in the chorus and also goes lower at times.

Switching back and forth between head voice and chest voice might be tough to memorize at first, but don’t get discouraged—keep at it!

Childish WarGiga66rank/position

[Kagamine Rin/Len] Childish War [Original]
Childish WarGiga

This song is about Kagamine Rin and Len getting into a fight.

It was written specifically for singer kradness’s first album—he also works as a producer for a fashion brand—and was uploaded online in 2013.

It’s an insanely cool track with an up-tempo electronic sound.

GardenSugar Soul feat. KJ67rank/position

garden Garden - SUGAR SOUL ft. KJ (Sugar Soul)
GardenSugar Soul feat. KJ

This is a collaboration track between the R&B unit SUGAR SOUL and KJ, the vocalist of Dragon Ash.

It’s a song where two distinct styles ride over a track that samples an orchestra and loops with a unique sense of rhythm.

The soulful vocals of the female singer are complemented by KJ’s low, gritty voice, delivering interjecting lyrics and rap.

Let your body sync with this groove and enjoy singing along.

Day by Daysyudou68rank/position

Hatsune Miku & KAFU - day by days [syudou]
Day by Daysyudou

How about trying a yandere-tinged duet song? It’s a track by the popular Vocaloid producer syudou—also known for working on “Usseewa”—released in 2022.

It’s connected to “Cute na Kanojo” and “Kareshi no Jude.” The worldview of the lyrics reveals a precarious romantic relationship that will keep your heart racing.

The melody is quite fast, so it’s fairly challenging to sing, but that makes it all the more rewarding!

"Hirogaru Sky! Precure" Ending Theme Song "Hirogarhythm" (Non-Credit ver.)

One song that’s also getting attention for its cute choreography is “Hirogarhythm.” It’s the theme song for the anime Soaring Sky! Pretty Cure and is created by Ami Ishii and Chiha Kudatake.

Since the song centers on the theme of friendship between the characters, singing it with friends or loved ones is sure to strengthen your bonds.

Trying the choreography can be fun too.

The moves are simple overall, so people of all ages can pick them up.

It takes a bit of courage to be the first one to start singing at karaoke, doesn’t it? You can’t help worrying that the first song might kill the vibe.

But if you sing this song, “Boogie Back Tonight,” you’re all set! It gives off a touch of ’80s flavor while still feeling totally current.

There’s no doubt the karaoke session will kick off with high energy!
