Madder-red skyikimonogakari

This is one of the nostalgic songs by Ikimono-gakari, a hugely popular rock band known for their deeply moving, bittersweet ballads, currently on hiatus.

When you hear the chorus, “Crying, laughing, the hands we held,” it brings back memories of someone special.

A masterpiece from Ikimono-gakari’s indie days, known for its poignant lyrics.

The vividly realistic words naturally paint scenes behind your eyes, and they pair perfectly with vocalist Yoshioka’s warm voice to deliver a song that truly pierces the heart.

It’s sure to bring tears.

It was released as a digital-only single by Ikimono-gakari on January 18, 2021, and later released on CD on February 24 of the same year as their 33rd single.

The song was written as the theme for the TV Tokyo anime series BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS.

It’s an up-tempo, energetic rock number with a vocal melody that doesn’t require a very wide range and is crafted to be very approachable, making it an excellent choice for aiming for a high score in karaoke.

Try to sing powerfully throughout the entire song.

Also, be careful not to go off pitch when the key changes and modulates up in the final chorus.

Ikimono Gakari – Message [With Lyrics]
messageikimonogakari

The song I want people to listen to when they feel, “My partner has been slow to contact or reply lately…” is ‘message.’ It’s included on the album ‘My song Your song,’ released in 2008 by Ikimono-gakari, a musical unit that handles everything from colorful pop to grand ballads.

A lively, Motown-inspired beat rings out breezily, and Kiyoe Yoshioka’s girlish vocals are utterly cute.

It’s a track you can enjoy from a woman’s perspective, thinking of your partner, or from a man’s perspective, rekindling your feelings for your girlfriend with the thought, “Is this how she feels about me?”

Ikimonogakari’s seventh digital-only single, released in August 2020.

The slightly bittersweet melody is very striking.

Many people might associate Ikimonogakari with bright, energetic songs that have lots of high notes, but I think this song is relatively easy to sing even for those who aren’t comfortable with high pitches.

Rather than trying to sing it perfectly, it might feel better if you focus on understanding the world of the lyrics and sing with the intention of expressing that.

This song is a rearranged version of a track from the indie album “Jinsei Sugoroku dabe.” It is based on experiences from the time when Kiyoe Yoshioka commuted from her home in Atsugi to Ebina High School.

As in the major debut single “SAKURA,” the lyrics feature “Ōhashi.”

This is a song in which Yoshiki Mizuno and Hotaka Yamashita also participate as vocalists.

It was originally written by Yamashita when he was in high school for the Atsugi High School cultural festival, and at the time it was a youthful song with the main vocals performed by “Ran Mayukie,” a trio of female students from the same school.
