[Middle School Students] Karaoke Popularity Ranking by Generation [2026] (31–40)
You don’t listen to rock.aimyon36rank/position

This is Aimyon’s third major-label single, released in August 2017.
The vocal melody doesn’t cover a very wide range, and the tempo is mid-range, making it very easy to sing and groove to.
It might be one of the best songs to choose when you’re aiming for a high score at karaoke.
Try to sing each word of the lyrics carefully and powerfully.
Also, be sure to listen closely to the backing track so your singing doesn’t rush ahead of the rhythm.
SignalWANIMA37rank/position

This is a super high-energy, emo-tinged, high-tempo melodic hardcore tune by WANIMA that really gets the crowd going from the very start! Because it’s fast, the pitch should be relatively easy to grasp, but the tempo can make your rhythm waver—so be careful not to stumble over the lyrics.
One hallmark of WANIMA is the abundance of harmony parts throughout their songs.
Put in some practice and try tackling the harmonies with your friends!
snakeYorushika38rank/position

Yorushika is a unit that has produced many great songs.
You could say they’re one of the most popular acts among teenagers.
Among their works, the one I especially recommend for its popularity and ease of singing is Hebi (“Snake”).
The song’s vocal range is mid1E to hiA, which is quite narrow for a female song.
The pitch movement is also relatively gentle, so any junior high school girl should be able to sing it well.
It’s a song that appeals to both girls and boys, so be sure to check it out.
Guiltytuki.39rank/position

Tuki., a singer-songwriter who went viral at 15 while still in junior high.
She’s now a second-year high school student, but as fellow junior high students, many of you probably still look up to who she was back then.
Among her songs, the one I especially recommend is Guilty.
The chorus features falsetto, but even though it could be sung in chest voice, she deliberately chooses falsetto.
So if you’re a typical junior high school girl with an average vocal range, you should be able to sing it easily using a light mixed voice.
It’s her latest track, so if you want to get ahead of the trend early, this is a must-listen for junior high students!
I love youuu!takane no nadeshiko40rank/position

Takane no Nadeshiko is a 10-member idol group produced by HoneyWorks.
The song they sing here is just the right fit for junior high schoolers—very relatable.
With its catchy tempo and easy-to-remember lyrics, it’s also a great karaoke pick that makes it easy to score high while everyone has fun.
It’s nice for singing while dancing, too, since the rhythm is easy to keep.
Try giving it a go without worrying about the score—and you might end up getting a high one anyway.
