[Middle Schoolers] Easy-to-Sing Western Songs for Karaoke Ranking [2026] (41–50)

O flowers now in full bloom,Kobukuro50rank/position

Kobukuro – Oh flowers now in full bloom
O flowers now in full bloom,Kobukuro

Now, Blooming Flowers encourages the resolve to face your dreams and goals.

After being included on the 2013 album One Song From Two Hearts, it was also released as a single in 2014.

The song was used as NHK’s theme for the 2014 Sochi Olympics and Paralympics.

Although it’s in 6/8 time, which can be a bit tricky rhythmically, if you listen closely and lock into the groove, the flowing rhythm becomes easier to sing.

The key isn’t very high either, so it’s a great choice when you want to sing a Kobukuro song in the original key with a cool vibe.

[For Middle Schoolers] Easy-to-Sing Western Songs for Karaoke [2026] (Ranks 51–60)

cherry (sweet cherry; cherry fruit)Otsuka Ai51rank/position

This is one of Ai Otsuka’s signature songs.

It was also used in Nyanko Star’s comedy routine, and it’s been getting a lot of play again recently.

It’s very well-known, and I think it’s easy for women to sing.

Since it’s a bright, up-tempo track, it’s perfect for singing together.

It’s also recommended as a starter to hype up the crowd.

Rain MaidenRaon52rank/position

Raon 라온 | 'Rain Maiden (Ameotome)' M/V
Rain MaidenRaon

Raon is a singer from South Korea.

Although she’s a Korean artist, she has released many songs in Japanese, making her popular in the J-pop scene as well.

Among Raon’s tracks, the one I especially recommend is “Ame Otome” (Rain Maiden).

It exudes a dark atmosphere.

The entire song is sung using a whisper voice from start to finish.

This whisper vocal style is easy to produce even for those who aren’t confident singers, and it tends to sound good without requiring special techniques.

Try singing it without forcing your voice—comfortably, and with a dark tone.

Yumi Matsutoya – If Wrapped in Kindness (THE LAST WEDNESDAY TOUR 2006 ~HERE COMES THE WAVE~)
If I'm wrapped in kindnessMatsutōya Yumi

This is the theme song from Studio Ghibli’s film Kiki’s Delivery Service.

The third single by Yumi Arai (Yumi Matsutoya) was used.

It’s a song almost everyone has heard at least once, and one that makes people want to sing along at karaoke.

FarewellSEKAI NO OWARI54rank/position

SEKAI NO OWARI is a band known for its soft, childlike dreamworld aesthetic that leaves a lasting impression.

Debuting in 2007, they’ve remained at the forefront ever since.

Their new song, Saraba, continues their signature style: a pop piece featuring a gentle, pastel-like atmosphere.

The vocal line is simple enough that even children could sing it.

Some listeners might worry if they can’t produce a light, high tone like Fukase’s, but the song doesn’t require a wide vocal range, so there’s no need to be overly concerned.

Bridge of Gloryyuzu55rank/position

Yuzu - Eikou no Kakihashi (Glory Bridge)
Bridge of Gloryyuzu

It was used as NHK’s official theme song for the Athens Olympics, cheering on athletes active on the world stage through music.

It’s one of Yuzu’s signature songs.

Yujin Kitagawa’s powerful vocals and the straightforward lyrics make it a song that gives you energy and courage.

It also drew attention when it was performed with students from across the country on the Kouhaku Uta Gassen.

First NightYorushika56rank/position

Yorushika – First Night (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
First NightYorushika

Yorushika is a duo known for their relaxed musicality and profound themes and lyrics.

If you’re a young person these days, you’ve probably heard their songs at least once.

Among Yorushika’s works, the track I especially recommend is First Night.

The song has a quintessentially Yorushika feel—ennui-laden and dreamlike.

While it leans a bit toward the higher register, the vocal line doesn’t span a wide range, so even those who aren’t confident singers should find it easy to sing.
