A simple mentalism-style number-guessing trick15rank/position

It’s really cool to read someone’s thoughts and guess their number, isn’t it? This is called mentalism, and mastering it isn’t easy, but you can quickly learn a number-guessing trick that feels like mentalism! First, have them pick a number they like from 1 to 10 and visualize it in their mind.
Next, have them double the number, add 15, and then divide by 2.
Finally, ask them to subtract the original number from the result.
All that’s left is to reveal the number.
In fact, no matter which number they chose, the answer will be 5.
Glass penetration magic using the classic palm16rank/position

This is a magic trick where a coin you’re holding seems to pass through a glass.
It uses the classic palm, a method of hiding a coin at the base of the thumb.
You make it look like you’re holding a glass in your left hand and a coin in your right, but in reality the coin is palmed in the same hand as the glass.
Then, at the moment it appears to transfer from the right hand, you simply drop the coin into the glass.
Since the sound of the coin falling adds to the effect, use a transparent glass.
Head-dropping magic17rank/position

One trick that became famous because the renowned TV magician Cyril often performed it is the “falling head magic.” This trick requires some preparation.
First, you make a base using a hanger, tape, and an S-hook.
Then you hang this base over your shoulders and put your clothes on over it to hide the setup.
During the performance, you tilt your head left and right and act like something’s off.
Then, as you pretend to sneeze, you push the base up from below, lifting your clothes from the inside.
From the audience’s perspective, it looks like your head suddenly drops down.
It’s a pretty scary-looking trick, so it’s perfect for the Halloween season!
Rubber Band Penetration Magic18rank/position

Pay attention to the spectators’ reactions too! We’re introducing an idea for a rubber band penetration magic trick.
Because it’s simple and easy to understand what’s happening, a rubber band penetration trick is a magic effect that people of all ages—from kids to adults—can enjoy.
This time, let’s try a pro-level version of the rubber band penetration.
All you need are two rubber bands.
Using different colors makes it easier to follow.
In the video, an orange rubber band and a blue rubber band are used.
Be sure to give it a try!
A magic trick that can make a coin disappear without using any techniques19rank/position

There actually aren’t many coin tricks you can do right away without any practice or difficult techniques.
But this one you really can do with no practice at all! It’s simple yet impactful: you hold a coin in your right hand, shake it up and down as you count “1, 2, 3,” and it vanishes.
You can even have someone hold out their hand, give a signal, and the coin that disappeared will drop from somewhere, getting the audience involved and having fun! The secret is that on “1, 2, 3,” you just place the coin on top of your head while it’s in your right hand.
Once you know the trick you might think, “Oh, that’s all?” but people focus on the hands when watching magic, so if you perform confidently, they surprisingly won’t notice.
Magic where a pen disappears20rank/position

Magic tricks with a pen are surprisingly easy.
The disappearing pen trick, in particular, can be learned in just a few seconds.
Perfect for a last-minute performance! Just pick up a pen and add a small movement, and it vanishes in no time.
It’s such a simple technique that you can show it off to classmates or coworkers right away.
Great for year-end and New Year parties, farewell parties, weddings—you name it.
Be sure to master it and enjoy the looks of amazement.
Now, it’s your turn to become a magician!

A prophecy of numbers using a calendar21rank/position

It’s a magic trick using a calendar.
First, have someone outline a 4-column by 4-row block of numbers on the calendar.
The magician then predicts the total and writes it down on a note.
Next, ask them to circle any one number and draw lines through the entire row and column of that number.
From the remaining numbers without lines, have them choose another number and do the same—circle it and draw lines through its row and column.
Repeat this two more times, and then add up the four chosen numbers.
When you open the note, the predicted total matches perfectly! The secret is that if you add the numbers on the two diagonals of the 4×4 block and then double that sum, you get the final total.
It’s a curious number trick that stays entertaining even after you reveal the method.
