Set in an imaginary apartment where each room welcomes different vocalists and creators, MAISONdes is a music project.
This song, written and composed by SAKURAmoti and sung by 9Lana, paints a spring scene where meetings and farewells intersect.
Many listeners will likely feel their hearts tighten at the lyrical world that overlays a thunderbolt-like, intense love with the fleeting beauty of falling cherry blossoms.
Released in January 2024, it drew attention as the ending theme for the third cour of the TV anime Urusei Yatsura.
SAKURAmoti also participated in the anime’s first cour, making this a touching “re-move-in” for fans.
With its driving sound and heartrending vocals, it’s a track we especially recommend to teenagers in the midst of their youth.

Urusei Yatsura, serialized in the manga magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday starting in 1978, became explosively popular.
As a work that came to represent anime and manga of the 1980s, it was reanimated in 2022 to commemorate Shogakukan’s 100th anniversary, and this song was selected as its theme.
A collaboration between female singer-songwriter Minami and student Vocaloid producer SAKURAmoti, it brilliantly captures the heroine Lum’s mischievous, devilish feminine heart.
