A lineup of buzzworthy artists! Ranking of MAISONdes' popular songs

MAISONdes is a music project that releases collaborative tracks with a variety of artists and creators for each song, based on the concept of “songs by the residents of each room in a six-tatami-mat apartment somewhere.”

Starting with the 2021 smash hit “Yowanehaki feat.

Wannuka, asmi,” the key appeal lies in the chemistry between the “singers” and the “creators.”

In the popular song ranking we’re introducing this time, you can enjoy a wide range of such combinations—so be sure to find your new favorite track!

MAISONdes’s new song, set in a uniquely crafted world where reality and fantasy intersect, quietly stirs the listener’s heart.

The collaboration by Issei and Isekaijoucho, who have newly moved into the fictional six-tatami-and-a-half apartment, beautifully marries delicate, dark soundscapes with ethereal vocals.

It vividly expresses the desire to escape reality and the longing for salvation.

Since its release in May 2025, it has drawn attention on social media, ranking among trending keywords.

As another milestone for MAISONdes—whose total streams have surpassed 600 million—expectations for their future work are rising.

This piece resonates with those burdened by real-life regret and emptiness, and it’s also perfect as a soundtrack for solitary nights or quiet walks home.

Urusei Yatsura, serialized in the manga magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday starting in 1978, became explosively popular.

As a work that came to represent anime and manga of the 1980s, it was reanimated in 2022 to commemorate Shogakukan’s 100th anniversary, and this song was selected as its theme.

A collaboration between female singer-songwriter Minami and student Vocaloid producer SAKURAmoti, it brilliantly captures the heroine Lum’s mischievous, devilish feminine heart.

Why not enjoy the Reiwa-era Urusei Yatsura while listening to how its themes differ between the Showa and Reiwa periods?
