Mr.Children Karaoke Popular Songs Ranking [2026] (21–30)
Live.Mr.Children22rank/position

This work was produced as the theme song for the 2022 film “Kingdom 2: To Distant Lands.” It was released in the memorable year that Mr.Children celebrated their 30th anniversary.
It’s like an anthem for life that gives you a push forward, saying, “Even when times are tough, don’t give up hope—believe in yourself and live!” The powerful sound, where piano merges with a grand orchestra, conveys the band’s strong will and determination.
The chorus, which reaches into the higher register, is somewhat challenging, but try singing it without straining, cherishing each word as you go.
Marshmallow dayMr.Children23rank/position

Among Mr.Children’s songs, “Marshmallow day” is one of the most challenging.
Its vocal range is quite wide, from mid1C to hiF.
While the high notes tend to draw attention, the mid1C section is actually quite tough, and the A melody sits very low with little room to lower the key, making it tricky to adjust.
If you’re good at high notes but struggle with low ones, one option is to sing the A melody an octave higher.
Since falsetto appears in the bridge, be mindful not to shout too much in the choruses beforehand so your voice doesn’t get worn out.
REMMr.Children24rank/position

Among Mr.Children’s songs, one I especially recommend for its wide vocal range is REM.
The song spans a remarkably broad range from mid1 F# to hi B, with the highest note, hi B, appearing repeatedly in the A, C, and D sections.
The pitch moves up and down dramatically, and notes like hi B and hi A show up right after mid2 F# or mid2 G as if it’s nothing, so you’ll need excellent pitch control.
There are also many shout-like parts, which demand strong vocal cords.
If you’re confident in your singing ability, definitely give it a try.
Seesaw Game ~A Brave Love Song~Mr.Children25rank/position

This song, “Seesaw Game: Brave Love Song,” has also been a karaoke favorite and a classic since its release! It came out in August 1995 as their ninth single, and despite having no tie-in, it became a massive hit, selling over a million copies.
It’s a super poppy killer tune that pays homage—music video included—to Elvis Costello, the British musician whom Kazutoshi Sakurai greatly admires.
To sing it well at karaoke, a key point is expressing the contrast between the low melody in the verses and the high notes in the chorus.
There aren’t melodies that demand sustained high belts, so it’s basically easy to sing, but try to stay mindful of the unique rhythm created by Sakurai’s masterful word choices.
Also, the bridge leading into the final chorus might be a bit tough because of the higher notes, but it’s something you can power through—so don’t be afraid to give it a shot!
Toward the lightMr.Children26rank/position

This is a Mr.Children single released in January 1999, featuring a sinuous bassline and a distorted guitar riff that sticks in your ears.
Running about 6 minutes and 50 seconds, it topped the charts despite having no tie-in, and it’s also included on the album DISCOVERY.
The lyrics, which portray the struggle to seek hope while grappling with everyday gloom and inner conflict, really hit home.
It’s a rock tune that’s been performed live many times and continues to be loved in evolving forms.
With its relentless drive that makes you forget its length, it’s perfect for energizing a crowd.
At karaoke with friends, if you belt out the liberating chorus melody, all your everyday frustrations will blow away! Give it a try.

A splash of “color” that brightens up everyday life.
This song was used as the image song for Olympus’s TV commercial “E-410,” which featured actress Aoi Miyazaki.
It’s included on the 2007 album “HOME.” The highest note used in this song is A4, and the lowest is B1, which some people may find a bit uncomfortably low.
The melody is so simple you can remember it after just one listen.
In terms of tempo, rhythm, and lyric density, it’s all quite standard.
If the vocal range suits you, it should feel very easy to sing!
Footsteps ~Be StrongMr.Children28rank/position

A smash-hit song by Mr.Children, an artist whose universally recognized, overwhelming musical sensibility and exceptional performance make them a representative of today’s Japanese music scene.
It’s a motivational anthem infused with the message of working hard to achieve your dreams, and its relatively low pitch makes it easy to sing.
