NOT FOUNDMr.Children29rank/position

At the time of its release, the masterpiece “NOT FOUND,” touted as Mr.Children’s greatest work, drew a lot of attention.
While the chest voice sits in a slightly higher range of mid1 C# to hi A, it still falls within a generally standard vocal range.
The falsetto reaches hi C#, and since it appears in every chorus, you should pay particular attention to it.
Aside from being a bit on the high side, the main challenges are the falsetto in the chorus and the long sustained notes, so although it’s difficult, you should be able to tackle it if you focus on the key points.
SimpleMr.Children30rank/position

It may be modest and not a famous song, but its permeating melody and the “simple” quality true to its title make it an ideal karaoke choice for weddings.
The final chorus line, “Even 10 years from now, 20 years from now, I want you by my side forever,” would be incredibly powerful if the groom sang it to the bride.

and I love youMr.Children31rank/position

The piece “and I love you” is striking for its breezy instrumentation and sultry vocals.
The trickiest part is, without a doubt, the falsetto in the chorus.
Because the pitch moves up and down quite dramatically, there’s a real risk of going off-pitch in the falsetto sections.
In the final chorus, consecutive shouts appear, and since many of them rely on a shout + mixed voice technique, you’ll need not just height but also fullness in the high notes.
The lowest note is mid2 A, so there’s room to lower the key, but the highest note is hi D.
Make sure to assess your own vocal timbre and range carefully, and set the key to what suits you best.
everybody goesMr.Children32rank/position

No matter which early Mr.
Children song you pick, it’s sure to get everyone pumped.
If I had to narrow it down to just one, I’d hesitate—but when in doubt, I think this is the one.
The slightly ironic, laid-back lyrics don’t feel like they’re trying too hard to impress by singing them perfectly, and that’s what I like about it.
Atelier of LightMr.Children33rank/position

This work is marked by its friendly, acoustic sound and warm lyrics that paint a palm-sized picture of hope.
Written as the theme song for the NHK morning drama “Beppin-san,” it was released in January 2017 as the band’s 36th single.
The lyrics gently convey the importance of continuing to move forward, resonating with many listeners who carry loneliness or uncertainty.
Featuring a marching, forward-moving groove and an organic, warm atmosphere, it emerges as a hopeful song quintessentially characteristic of Mr.Children.
Prayer ~ Orbit of TearsMr.Children34rank/position

Mr.Children, who have produced numerous ballad songs.
When it comes to their songs themed around farewell, “Inori ~Namida no Kido~” likely comes to mind.
The song portrays a parting with a loved one, as well as a break from one’s unreliable self.
In fact, the song was originally going to be titled “Nostalgia.” As a result, the lyrics are crafted so that people leaving their hometowns can also relate to them.
Consider giving it to someone who’s moving away for a job transfer or leaving home after graduation.
#2601Mr.Children35rank/position

When it comes to Mr.Children, their orthodox J-pop sound is what usually stands out, but they also have some hardcore tracks.
Among those, the one I especially recommend as a particularly difficult song is “#2601.” It spans a very wide range from mid1 C-sharp to high A-sharp, and on top of that, most of the chorus sits on high A-sharp.
What’s more, it’s not sung in falsetto, but in full-voice shouts, so unless your throat is exceptionally strong, it will be hard to pull off.
