The Toyota “Yaris Cross” commercial, with its striking lyrics, also makes you really curious about the song itself.

This irresistibly catchy track is by Sakanaction.

Its poppy, fun sound makes you want to take it along on a drive to somewhere intriguing.

It’s said that the song was completed after the band held thorough meetings about the Yaris Cross’s concept and how to effectively convey the product through the commercial.

Because the piece was crafted so carefully, it’s no wonder both the ad and the music stick in your mind.

Sakanaction’s electronic rock is captivating—it grabs your heart after just a quick listen.

Released as a CD single in December 2008, this track appeared on the B-side.

It was created through a new production approach in which Ichiro Yamaguchi asked each member to arrange one song.

Ami Kusakari proposed a straightforward guitar pop song, which was then completed with that distinctive Sakanaction touch.

It’s no surprise it was chosen as the opening theme for Toyama TV’s “bbt music selection.” The concise lyrics leave a strong impression, making it perfect for times when you’re feeling lost or facing difficulties in life.

The song has a strong electronic feel, as if it were crafted by a DJ, and it pairs well with the live performances SAKANACTION excels at using Macs.

Prayer and dance may seem far apart, yet perhaps they are closer than we think.

INORI (Extended Mix)Sakanakushon64rank/position

It’s a cool track where minimal beats and hypnotic, repeating synths draw the listener into deep immersion.

This is the extended version included on the INORI EP, which Sakanaction co-produced with electronic musician AOKI takamasa and released on vinyl in June 2013.

They reconstructed the original song from the March 2013 album sakanaction to enhance its functionality as club music, showcasing an experimental approach that transcends the boundaries of band sound.

It’s perfect for moments when you want to surrender to the pure pleasure of sound rather than words, or as late-night highway driving BGM.

It has an addictive quality that makes you want to keep listening.

I found the melody easy to listen to.

It seems to be expressing frustration toward people who don’t give proper responses and just answer with yes or no.

It’s true that lately there are people who don’t give a proper reply even when you ask a question.

This was a song I wanted to play for those who have a bit of a problem with basic greetings.
