Hikaru Utada “Electricity” Music Video
ElectricityUtada Hikaru

Hikaru Utada’s new song “Electricity.” This work is crafted with a highly intricate musicality: within an amapiano-like atmosphere, it also incorporates the flavors of Black music such as R&B.

On top of that, the electronic track creates an indescribable sonic world.

While the pitches are a bit unconventional, the piece features many rests and a narrow vocal range, making it very easy to sing.

If you want to add a stylish and original track to your repertoire, this is a must-check!

Guiltytuki.87rank/position

tuki. “Guilty” Official Music Video
Guiltytuki.

Tuki., a singer-songwriter who went viral at 15 while still in junior high.

She’s now a second-year high school student, but as fellow junior high students, many of you probably still look up to who she was back then.

Among her songs, the one I especially recommend is Guilty.

The chorus features falsetto, but even though it could be sung in chest voice, she deliberately chooses falsetto.

So if you’re a typical junior high school girl with an average vocal range, you should be able to sing it easily using a light mixed voice.

It’s her latest track, so if you want to get ahead of the trend early, this is a must-listen for junior high students!

Aimer “Beautiful World” Lyric Video
Beautiful worldAimer

Aimer is a popular singer-songwriter.

It’s no exaggeration to call her the queen of modern ballads, as she has earned widespread acclaim for her heartrending songs.

Among her works, the one I especially recommend is Utsukushii Sekai (Beautiful World).

While it doesn’t have a particularly narrow vocal range, it features many low to lower-mid parts throughout, making it a piece that allows women with lower voices to fully showcase their appeal.

Since it isn’t the type of song where Aimer showcases her power through vocal prowess, the vocal lines are kept simple with relatively little contour.

It’s an excellent song for both ease of singing and the allure of low tones.

Young Skinny – Even If The World Comes to Hate Me (2023 ver.) [Official Music Video]
Even if the world comes to hate meyangusukinii

Young Skinny is a four-piece rock band active since 2020.

Their music embodies classic Japanese rock, featuring melodies and lyrics that strike a chord and have earned them popularity among young listeners.

Among their songs, the one especially recommended for teenage boys is Sekai ga Boku o Kirai ni Natte mo (“Even If the World Comes to Hate Me”).

Despite its bright tone, it doesn’t ramp up in intensity; in fact, the vocal range drops a notch in the chorus.

Even if you can’t hit high notes, it’s still easy to sing—so consider adding it to your repertoire.

Masqueradeharha90rank/position

harha – Masquerade (Fuji TV Tuesday 9 p.m. drama “STINGERS: Metropolitan Police Undercover Investigation Verification Office” opening theme) - Music Video
Masqueradeharha

harha is a music duo consisting of track maker Haruha and vocalist Yonabe.

Their hallmark is a genre-free musicality, and lately their momentum has been building rapidly.

Among harha’s tracks, the one I especially recommend is their new song, “Masquerade.” If I had to sum it up, it’s quintessentially orthodox.

The range, the pitch movement, and the tempo are all perfectly balanced, so the vocal line has no quirks whatsoever.

A junior high school girl with a steady vocal register should be able to sing it without any trouble.
