DEARESTTōhōshinki

The ballad by TVXQ that portrays a love transcending life and death has deeply moved listeners.

One of the gems on their 20th-anniversary album “ZONE” tenderly sings of the happiness of feeling a bond with a loved one, and of moving forward with hope even while reflecting on the fragility of life.

Set against a classical arrangement rich with piano and strings, the voices of Yunho and Changmin resonate beautifully, drawing listeners into a world full of emotion.

Released in November 2024, the song’s music video also depicts a timeless bond of love through the story of a grandfather and a young girl.

When facing heartbreak or a turning point in life, this song is sure to be by your side.

This is a track where Changmin’s chic, moody vocals are absolutely irresistible.

The interplay between Changmin’s high notes and Yunho’s gentle voice is wonderful, too.

We fall in love, break up, suffer, and then fall in love again.

Even though experience tells us it might hurt, we repeat it, as if we’re searching for true love.

It’s a poignant, chic song for grown-ups.

Before K-pop became a full-fledged boom, TVXQ had already earned immense support in Japan as legendary artists.

Their performances, brimming with powerful appeal, are undeniably cool.

Since they debuted as an a cappella dance group, the five-member era’s vocal harmonies were especially striking.

I also recommend their hit song “MIROTIC,” which has been covered by various artists.

Since becoming a duo in 2011, it feels like they’ve focused even more on showcasing dance numbers.

Of course, Yunho—whose high-level dance skills are often the talk of the town—stands out, but Changmin’s dancing is also manly, stylish, and captivating.

Starting with bouncy piano tones and sung with a cheerful sound, the PV for this track has a storyline and is captivating to watch.

With a Cinderella-like plot, it feels less like a music video and more like watching a film—wonderful.

Break Out!Tōhōshinki

It’s a cool dance tune released in 2010 that’s quintessentially Tohoshinki.

Right after this, a member departure issue arose, and the five of them were no longer able to perform the song together.

In a sense, it can be called a “phantom” track.

It’s a wonderful, convincing cheer song precisely because it’s by TVXQ, who keep running at full speed without losing heart no matter what happens in the tough K-pop idol world! I believe Yunho and Changmin’s efforts were truly immense.

Let’s have courage and keep moving forward, even if it’s just little by little!

TVXQ Popular Songs Ranking [2026] (21–30)

Lime & LemonTōhōshinki21rank/position

An adult love song billed as a “midsummer citrus tune.” Released in June 2023 by TVXQ, the legendary male unit that has led the K-pop boom since the 2000s and enjoys immense popularity across Asia.

It portrays a passion that burns hot, but by weaving in lime and lemon, it also adds the freshness and crisp zest of summer, resulting in a thoroughly refreshing finish.

That said, Yunho and Changmin’s mature yet charming allure shines through, and that balance is just perfect.

An ideal summer track—great for a drive!
