Here, we present a list of reggae festivals held in the summer! Be sure to blow the heat away with reggae!

YARDMAN VIBESWakayama Prefecture, Sun 5/24–Sun 6/21

YARDMAN VIBES is an outdoor reggae event hosted by the Osaka-based sound system JAH WORKS. The venue is Kogawa Highland Park on Mount Katsuragi in Wakayama, where you can immerse yourself in music surrounded by mountain nature, powered by the heavy bass of the JAH WORKS FULL SOUND SYSTEM. In 2026, it will be held over two dates—May 24 and June 21—with performances by Cocochee, BOOGIE MAN, ZERO MOVEMENT, and more.

Muroran SUPER BASHSaturday, 6/20, Hokkaido

This is an outdoor music festival held at a special venue on the Central Pier in Kaigan-cho, Muroran City, Hokkaido. Organized by club RED HILL and supported by Muroran City and others, it is known as the largest outdoor reggae event in Hokkaido. Centered on reggae and hip-hop, about 25 artists gather in the port town each time, raising their passionate voices at Muroran Port together with roughly 800 fans who come from all over Japan. Numerous vendors, including food trucks, line the venue. In 2026, it will be held in June.

Shigasaku – Irie Run FestivalSunday, 7/19, Shiga Prefecture

“Shigasaku – Irie Run Festival” is a reggae festival held every summer on the shores of Lake Biwa. The venue is Takashima Biwakko Park in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, offering a beachside location with expansive views of the lake and sky. In addition to leading figures of Japan’s reggae scene such as CHEHON, NG HEAD, and HISATOMI, sound crews from around the country and dance shows also gather to bring an irie vibe to the day.
