In May 2026, Osaka Castle Park will be filled with the spirit of Jamaica for a day.

“Shigasaku – Irie Run Festival” is a reggae festival held every summer on the shores of Lake Biwa. The venue is Takashima Biwakko Park in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, offering a beachside location with expansive views of the lake and sky. In addition to leading figures of Japan’s reggae scene such as CHEHON, NG HEAD, and HISATOMI, sound crews from around the country and dance shows also gather to bring an irie vibe to the day. AWAJI PARKING FESTIVAL vol.3 is a cultural event that guides people to a paradise from the open seashore of Awaji Island. The venue is Taga-no-hama Beach in Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture, and it’s a one-day event where live music, DJs, food, and art intersect. For the Special Live, YOUTH OF ROOTS—one of Japan’s leading reggae bands—will perform, creating a relaxed, unhurried time away from the busyness of everyday life. Scheduled for April 2026.
