Ama Fes! Jack in the BOXHyogo Prefecture, Sat 5/9–Sun 5/10

Touted as the largest in the Kansai region, in recent years it has focused on community-based operations under the theme of a “Town Revitalization Grand Strategy.” In addition to performances by star artists, the festival features showcases by famous dancers, dance battles, and open-call dance numbers, offering a wide variety of programs that people of all ages can enjoy. In 2026, it will be held over two days in May in Amagasaki.

The venues span Minatogawa Park and the Shinkaichi shopping district in Hyogo Ward, Kobe, where a rich variety of genres—rock, jazz, folk, brass, gospel, and more—resonate across distinctive stages such as shopping arcades, plazas, live houses, and the brick-built Minatogawa Tunnel. It’s a beloved early-summer tradition that brings the whole community together, inviting people of all ages to sing, dance, and enjoy. Scheduled for May 2026.

Amuse Fête in Michi-no-Eki Kita-Harima Eco MuseumSun, May 10 – Hyogo Prefecture

With a concept of enjoying Zumba, dance, and music, the event will bring together dance stages by local children, workshops, and food trucks. It will be held in May 2026.
