midnight sunNEW!REOL

How about a track where sleek electronic tones intersect with a prayer-like vocal? Reol’s “Byakuya,” released as a digital single in July 2021, was written as the theme song for the smartphone game Alchemy Stars.

It marked her first collaboration with trackmaker KOTONOHOUSE, and the song was later included on her second mini-album, Sixth Sense, released at the end of the same year.

Contrasting themes like light and darkness, battle and solace are brilliantly rendered through spacious, expansive electronic sound.

Imbued with the hope that salvation awaits after a long and arduous time, this is a song to savor in the quiet of late night or on evenings when you want to sink into thought.

DEAD CENTER feat. LiSAREOL

This track, included on Reol’s album “Bijigaku” released in January 2026, became a hot topic as a collaboration featuring LiSA, a singer renowned for numerous anime themes and beloved both in Japan and abroad.

True to its title, which means “right down the middle” in English slang, its powerful message—like two paths merging head-on—teaches the importance of believing in yourself and forging ahead.

With cutting-edge beats and the two vocalists’ voices colliding vividly, it’s an uplifting tune perfect for those decisive, make-or-break moments.

This song, included on the album “Bijigaku” releasing in January 2026, was pre-released in December 2025.

Framed as an homage to 80s idol pop, the track features arrangement by Shin Sakiura.

Its dual nature is captivating: beneath the glittering synths lurk a sense of danger and a hint of poison.

Savor the nuanced emotional expression that lies beneath its pop sheen.

ECHO(Crusher-P)REOL

A singer who took flight from Niconico Douga to the world! Starting her online activities around 2012, Reol has captivated many fans with a unique style that fuses J-pop, EDM, and hip-hop.

In 2014, she shocked the Vocaloid scene with the compilation album “No Title+,” and the following year released her first solo album “GOKUSAISHIKI,” which reached the top 10 on the Oricon charts.

In 2020, she achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first Japanese woman selected for YouTube’s Artist on the Rise.

She’s a standout figure you can’t take your eyes off—one of the scene’s top runners!

Reol is a female artist who started out as an utaite singer.

She shot to fame with “The Sixth Sense” in 2020.

After that, she seemed to release more pop-leaning tracks, but the key point with 2023’s “Kirakira” is that it revives the beautiful yet fleeting tone found in her pre-“Sixth Sense” songs.

Specifically, it evokes that uniquely exotic atmosphere you can only feel in her music—akin to tracks like “YoiYoi Kokon” and “Utena”—and it’s absolutely irresistible!

Reol is a female singer known for her solid vocal ability and catchy musical style.

While her core sound hasn’t changed much, she’s recently been shifting toward a hip-hop-influenced K-pop vibe.

Among her tracks, I especially recommend “DDD.” Although it spans a wide vocal range, most of it consists of rap parts, and the high notes in the chorus can be sung roughly with a bit of a shout, so overall it’s a song that’s relatively easy for men to sing.

RE RESCUEREOL

RE RESCUEREOL

Reol is a female singer who’s gained popularity with crisp, hard-hitting dance music.

She’s always dropping hit tunes, but the one I especially want to recommend is RE RESCUE.

The most satisfying high-note moment in this track is, without a doubt, the chorus.

There’s a section toward the end of the chorus where she repeatedly switches between chest voice and falsetto, and the smoothness of that transition is outstanding.

Reol also excels at pitch control, so be sure to check out the live version as well.
