The group was created based on an idea from the TV show “Jinsei ga Kawaru 1-Punkan no Fuka ii Hanashi,” with Shinobu Shimada, who served as a Kyoto City and Kyoto tourism ambassador, joining forces, and it was composed of members connected to Kyoto.

The group’s name, “Lien,” means “bond” in French.
