June Rock Festival Calendar [2026]

This is a free outdoor music festival held at Iwamizawa Park Outdoor Music Hall Kitaon in Iwamizawa, Hokkaido. Officially billed as a “limited revival after four years,” it is planned as a commemorative project by the organizing body. The event consists of two segments: a contest stage where finalists compete in performance, and the Sound Air Stage, a free-form performance platform, allowing attendees to fully enjoy live sets by participating bands throughout the day. YON FES is an outdoor rock festival in Aichi Prefecture hosted by the rock band 04 Limited Sazabys. Misawa American Day is a Japan–U.S. exchange event held in Misawa City, Aomori Prefecture, home to the U.S. Misawa Air Base, and hosted by the Misawa International Club and the American Day Executive Committee. Conceived by the club, which was founded in the summer of 1987 to promote people-to-people and cultural exchange between Japan and the United States, the entire city takes on an American atmosphere with features such as an American parade lined with Harley-Davidsons, a festival plaza filled with performances by the Pacific Air Forces rock band, and a food court offering cuisine from across the United States. Scheduled for June 2026.

This is a rock festival held in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, whose official tagline is “Evolving the music of Takasaki, Gunma, and Northern Kanto.” Spanning two days across multiple venues in the city, it is known as a community-linked festival co-hosted by Takasaki City and the Takasaki Foundation. A distinctive feature is its city-integrated format, with some venues open to the public free of charge. The 2026 edition is scheduled for June.

This is a circuit-style rock festival that turns multiple live music venues scattered around the Kichijoji area of Musashino, Tokyo into a single roaming floor. True to the official concept of “KICHIJOJI AREA CIRCUIT FES.,” it’s designed so you can spend an entire day traversing venues across the city while enjoying performances by a diverse lineup of rock bands. In 2026, it will be held on June 27, transforming the town of Kichijoji into a day filled with music.

This is a one-day live event hosted by Osaka’s FM radio station FM802, held at Osaka-jo Music Hall. In the open-air atmosphere unique to an outdoor music venue, a lineup of on-trend Japanese artists curated by the radio station will fill an early summer day with music. In 2026, it will take place on Saturday, June 27, with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. and the show starting at 12:30 p.m. In addition to general tickets, student discount tickets are also available.
