The Lake Breeze Festival, commonly known as “kofoo,” is held every November at The University of Shiga Prefecture. It actively engages in eco-friendly initiatives such as the No-My-Car campaign and the My Chopsticks campaign, values connections with the local community, and is a campus festival that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to the elderly. Every June, the Lake Breeze Summer Festival is also held.

Lake Breeze Summer Festival | University of Shiga Prefecture
Kofu Natsu Matsuri, the summer edition of the University of Shiga Prefecture’s school festival, is held around June each year and features highlights such as events where participants dance the traditional local music of Omi, the Goshu Ondo.
