As a song that elementary school kids can have fun singing at karaoke, “Tokyo Shandy Rendezvous” is a perfect fit.

Created by MAISONdes, this track is also well-loved as the ending theme of the 2022 anime Urusei Yatsura, with KAF’s clear, airy vocals enhancing its charm.

The four-on-the-floor beat feels great, and its urban sound makes it easy for upper-grade kids to catch the rhythm and enjoy right away.

The emotionally rich lyrics foster a sense of togetherness at karaoke, guaranteeing a lively time.

Definitely try this catchy melody for a fun, memorable moment.

Yorushika is a male-female duo whose soft vocals and languid musical style have made them popular, especially among young people.

While they’re particularly popular with junior high and high school students, it’s not uncommon for elementary school kids who use social media like YouTube and TikTok to know them as well.

Among their songs, “Telepath” is one I especially recommend for elementary school students.

The melody is simple and there are no high parts, so it’s comfortable even for older elementary students who are on the verge of their voices changing.

Giant DreamKimura Subaru (Jaian)

Takeshi Gouda is a character from the anime Doraemon, which is popular among elementary school students.

In the story, he is often called by his nickname, Gian.

As for Gian, it’s officially established that he has a “terrible singing voice.” While he can just barely carry a tune, those around him consider his singing so awful that it’s unbearable to listen to.

For elementary schoolers who aren’t confident in their singing, we recommend “Giant Dream”! This is Gian’s debut song as a singer.

Since it’s sung by Gian to begin with, it’s absolutely fine if you go off key.

In fact, being off-key might even make everyone happier!

1, 2, 3After the Rain

1, 2, 3After the Rain

Released in December 2019 as the opening theme for the TV anime Pokémon, this song features adventurous lyrics and a catchy melody.

Its courage-filled messages sprinkled throughout the lyrics are sure to give you a push to take on new challenges.

With a bright vibe that perfectly matches the Pokémon world, it’s also great for elementary school kids to sing at karaoke! When you need a boost of energy or a bit of courage, be sure to listen and sing along with your friends.

RADWIMPS is one of the most popular bands in Japan.

Their catchy musical style, which tones down rock elements and aligns closely with J-pop, is consistently well-received by the general public.

Among RADWIMPS’ songs, the one I especially recommend for elementary school students is Kanata Haluka.

As students reach the upper grades, they’re likely to encounter more popular music like this.

The song features a simple enough melody that upper-grade students can certainly sing it, making it a great choice for class choral performances.
