SHINee’s classic and popular songs
Let me introduce songs by SHINee, a male group from South Korea.
SHINee is sometimes called a contemporary band, which means a group that sets trends across all areas—music, dance, fashion, and more.
Because of that, they helped popularize skinny jeans among men in Korea and sparked the trend of the “hybrid remix,” a technique that combines separate songs into a single track.
Please enjoy SHINee’s music, which has always been ahead of its time and continually pushes new boundaries.

SHINee’s Masterpieces and Popular Songs (41–50)
D×D×DSHINee

This song was included on SHINee’s fourth Japanese album, released in January 2016.
With themes of freedom and liberation, it conveys the exhilaration and thrills felt on a nighttime dance floor.
Opening with the question, “What do you want to do tonight?”, it encourages stepping away from everyday life to enjoy a night of freedom.
It’s a track that showcases SHINee’s sophisticated pop sensibilities and their grasp of dance music.
The album sold 44,921 copies in its first week, topping the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking at No.
1.
As part of the promotion, a nationwide tour drew 350,000 attendees across 16 shows in 8 cities, pushing their cumulative concert attendance in Japan to over one million.
SaviorSHINee

A funky dance tune that starts with Onew’s English narration.
The lyrics convey that “she takes everything away from me, yet she is also a savior and like a grand gift,” sensually expressing how he is completely dominated by her.
WANTEDSHINee

A track included on SHINee’s album “D×D×D,” released in January 2016.
The song portrays the complex emotions of a man drawn to a dangerous yet captivating woman.
The lyric “Don’t get too close to me” is repeated, expressing the conflict of wanting to approach but being unable to.
Its sound is experimental, rooted in contemporary R&B while incorporating elements of funk rock, hip-hop, and EDM.
Paired with SHINee’s signature tightly synchronized and intricate choreography, it’s a captivating piece.
It also makes a great driving song—perfect for dates or trips.
BodyguardSHINee

A song that was remade from the Korean version into a Japanese version.
As the line “I’m your bodyguard” suggests, it conveys the message that the singer will always be by the other person’s side, even in tough times.
Unlike the cool vibe, it’s a poppy track that’s often performed during encores at concerts.
Listening to it will put a smile on your face.
Get The TreasureSHINee

This track is stylish, cool, and seriously addictive.
Its standout feature is the incredibly slick choreography.
The dance scenes in the music video are a bit short, but if you check out live footage and the like, you should be able to see all the choreography.
빈칸 KindSHINee

A slow ballad that gives you goosebumps with the beauty of SHINee’s harmonies.
They’re amazing at dance tracks, but their expression in ballads is incredibly captivating too! This is the closing number of Don’t Call Me, their first album in two and a half years following their military service.
Minho’s sexy low notes, Key’s reassuring tone, Taemin’s delicacy, and Onew’s high notes and falsetto are all breathtakingly beautiful.
The lyrics, which feel like words left in a blank space, carry gratitude for those who supported you through hard times and really strike a chord.
It might make you think of someone you can’t forget.
It’s a warm song that conveys not only romance and friendship, but a deeper sense of appreciation.
HonestySHINee

It’s a song for which Jonghyun wrote the lyrics to his fans.
He said he wrote it with the feeling of “thank you for always being by my side, supporting me, and giving me love.” His gentle singing voice really conveys his gratitude.
I heard the inspiration for the lyrics came when he was doing a lot of activities overseas and began to miss his fans back home in Korea.
