This track hits your ears out of nowhere with a ferocious sound, almost as if to declare that the lead of Ling tosite Sigure isn’t TK but me—PL Nakano—with TK and PL Nakano going head-to-head throughout.

Starting with a floating, atmospheric intro, this track features mechanically processed vocals, making it a highly distinctive piece.

Above all, I feel the vocals and guitar really stand out.

Of course, the rest of the band is excellent as well.

SOSOSRin to shite Shigure

A unique melody that blends aching tenderness with an icy edge, born from dual male–female vocals.

Ling tosite sigure’s songs seize the listener’s heart and never let go.

This track powerfully sings out an SOS message, depicting secrets, falsehoods, and the inner conflicts of the individual.

Included on the EP “es or s,” released in September 2015, it reached No.

5 on the Oricon chart.

With its intricate structure and singular atmosphere, the song symbolically expresses human loneliness and uncertainty in contemporary society.

Try listening to it alone on a quiet night—you may feel a resonance that reaches deep into your heart.

a symmetryRin to shite Shigure

Shigure’s “a symmetry” has a grand atmosphere.

The finely chopped hi-hats feel incredibly good.

What’s more, the section in the latter half where the China cymbal is hit repeatedly is exhilarating and absolutely fantastic.

I think drummers will find it very satisfying to try covering this song.
