Simple Magic! Recommended Tricks for Parties and Performances (71–80)
Super easy! The coin disappears! Coin magic!

It’s a magic trick where you slam a coin onto the table hard enough to make a loud sound, and then the coin seems to vanish from that spot.
The fact that you could hear it just a moment before but can’t see it now makes it feel even more mysterious.
The key is the hand movement right after making the first sound with the coin: while making a motion as if putting the coin into your hand, you actually drop it off the near edge of the table.
Then, in sync with the slamming motion on top of the table, you produce the coin sound from underneath to make it seem like the coin is still on the table.
It might be important to check in advance how different the sound resonates from the top and bottom of the table.
Simple Coin Magic
This video starts with the promise of a little coin magic.
All you need, it says, is you (the viewer) and a coin.
But when the trick actually begins, a deck of cards suddenly comes into play, leaving you feeling a bit baffled—yet somehow, the coin has vanished!?
A ridiculously easy card trick

First, have an audience member select three cards and remember one of them.
Return that card to the deck and shuffle.
Then add together the values of the other two selected cards.
Now deal down that many cards…
and what happens next?? No setup or gaffs are needed for this deck! For all the details, be sure to watch the video!
Simple Coin Magic

I had one 100-yen coin.
Then, when I turned my hand over, it became two 100-yen coins.
After a gesture like “There’s no trick in my hand!”, the 100-yen coins turned into three! I was completely fooled.
Once you see the explanation, you understand the mechanism, but if you don’t know it, you really have no idea what’s going on, do you?
Handkerchief magic

A handkerchief taken out from a breast pocket.
In the next moment, a pen appeared from inside the handkerchief! This trick was a way of holding it that makes it look like something is coming out of the handkerchief.
So as long as you can hold it, it doesn’t have to be a pen—apparently a flower or even a wine bottle would work too!
Simple and practical magic

This is a magic trick that makes a coin vanish from the table using a technique called wrapping.
To make it disappear, cover the coin with your hand and, while making a rubbing motion against the table, gradually bring it closer to your body.
Then, at the end, secretly let it drop under the table without your audience noticing.
It may sound simple when explained, but it takes practice to perform naturally within the movement.
Because the trick itself is simple, when done well it should feel all the more mysterious.
[Everyday Item Magic] Solo, Tissue Magic

It’s a magic trick using a tissue.
You hold the tissue as if you’re absorbing it into your hand.
Then you tear off the small part that sticks out.
But when you unfold the tissue, it isn’t torn anywhere!? With a little setup, this trick seems doable for anyone! Be sure to watch the video and give it a try!
